Design and Display
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro features a premium design with a combination of flat design with the use of premium materials such as leather. The side and the mid-frame are made of aluminum, which gives the smartphone its rigidity, while the rear panel is made up of leather and glass to form a dual-tone finish. It looks quite premium and artsy, especially in the Green color options.
Apart from that, the smartphone is also available in Black, Pink, and Blue color options. Apart from the Black color, all other color options feature a dual-tone design. All in all, it has a great design that fans will surely appreciate. The front of the smartphone will also impress its users with its extremely thin and uniform bezels on all four sides. This provides a positive user experience to the user when they view content on the display.
Speaking of the display, you get a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz high refresh rate support. The display features 1.5K resolution and it can also display HDR10+ content. The panel is capable of displaying 68 billion colors and also supports Dolby Vision. The panel can get extremely bright 3000 nits under direct sunlight, which allows for a great experience using the smartphone outdoors. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Memory and Internal
Xiaomi has equipped the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 5G chipset, which is capable of delivering clock speeds of up to 1×3.0 GHz. This chipset is a cut-down variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so its clock speeds are a bit lower, but it’s still one of the most powerful Android chipsets. Its performance level is somewhere between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
It has all the raw performance needed to run all your social media apps and games without breaking a sweat. The same performance can be seen in the gaming side of things as well. So, graphically intensive games like Black Desert Mobile, Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile, Summoners War, and CODm run with the highest graphical options at high framerates.
As for the software, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is running on Android 14 with the HyperOS user interface for better customization support. The chipset also supports 5G connectivity, so you will get gigabit-level speeds and low-latency gaming. For RAM and storage, the smartphone can be purchased with up to 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage.
Camera
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro has a 50MP triple rear-camera system. The primary camera consists of a 50MP sensor and pictures from this camera have detail levels that exceed our expectations. It is a seriously impressive camera that can easily beat any other smartphone in the industry. The pictures have accurate colors and high dynamic range.
There’s portrait mode as well and pictures taken with this mode are also good with near-perfect background blur. The 12MP ultra-wide camera is also equally capable and is capable of capturing pictures with a wide field of view and high detail levels, but there’s little shift in colors compared to the main camera.
There’s also a 50MP telephoto camera that can capture pictures with 2x optical zoom and the pictures simply look fantastic. There’s night mode as well and it allows the camera to capture more light than usual. This is done through clever use of OIS, slower shutter speed, and advanced post-processing algorithms. In the end, the result is simply astonishing considering those were night pictures.
On the front, there are two 32MP sensors. The first one is a wide camera while the other is a ultra-wide camera. Both sensors have the same quality and take some great selfies with a natural color tone and higher detail levels. The only difference between them is the field of view. When it comes to video recording, the rear cameras can shoot up to 4K@60FPS. But the selfie camera can only shoot videos at a maximum of 4K@30FPS. The footage from the rear cameras is stabilized with both OIS and gyro-EIS, but the footage from the selfie camera is stabilized with only gyro-EIS.
Battery and Others
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro has a Li-Po 4700 mAh high-capacity battery, so it can last 1 – 2 days easily. This is with a light to medium usage that includes a bit of camera, social media, watching videos, and so on. However, the same cannot be said with a heavier usage that includes gaming. In that case, the battery will not last that long.
But this shouldn’t worry you as the smartphone supports 67W wired fast charging support and it can fully charge the smartphone in just about 40 minutes, which is seriously impressive considering the size of the battery. Apart from that, the phone also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, GPS, an Infrared sensor, stereo speakers and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro starts at $420 (Rs 34,990 in India) approx.

Conclusion
Xiaomi has designed a high-end smartphone with the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro’s pros include a premium design with a flagship-grade display, chipset, camera, and even battery. In terms of specs, the smartphone is flagship-level but not quite the same. That’s because the smartphone lacks a few things that prevent it from being a proper flagship.
It lacks IP rating and wireless charging. But it comes at considering the price that makes these cons acceptable. Its pricing sets it apart and makes it an incredibly value-for-money smartphone. If you want a solid performance and user experience, then the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will certainly deliver them both. It excels in every aspect of the smartphone while asking for less than half of what the other prices themselves.
But if wireless charging and dust & water protection are a must-have, then this smartphone is not for you. The closest alternative smartphone to this would be the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro. It offers similar internals while asking for a slightly lower price tag. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.
