Motorola One 5G UW Ace Review

Highlights

  1. The tall 6.7 inches screen lets you enjoy the amazing Netflix series with a cinematic experience.
  2. Due to the presence of the latest Android 11, you are far from feeling any kind of disability.
  3. Whether for games or daily tasks, the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset is your best supporter.
  4. While cameras aren’t all that impressive but you can still expect better quality photos.
  5. A huge battery life comes from the Li-Po 5000mAh battery.

Design and Display

You cannot expect vibrant color from this brand as we all know it. They made some standard colors especially black and the same applies to the Motorola One 5g UW ace smartphone too. Coming only with the Volcanic Gray color, there is no other option to choose. With the triple camera and fingerprint sensor on the back, it is a standard approach when it comes to the overall layout.

The front panel is quite amazing with the 6.7 inches LTPS IPS LCD screen. If you were looking for an AMOLED screen, you might be disappointed, but this model’s built-in screen doesn’t mean you won’t get better performance. That’s why 1080p resolution proves to be the best solution. With a 20:9 ratio, the Moto UW ace phone is HDR10+ certified. You can expect a better visual experience from this phone. As it comes with a water-repellent design, you don’t have to worry about rainy days or sweating.

On the other hand, it lacks an adequate refresh rate while the screen brightness could also be better. You’ll be carrying a heavy phone weighing 214 g and holding it down can be a little laborious due to its 9.9mm thick sidebar. Let’s proceed to the inner section where you’ll find your true capability, as the brand has been concerned about this for a long time.

Memory and Internal

Because of powerful internal resources, the brand has not yet disappeared from the industry. It’s always proven to be better to use a smartphone with the latest Android 11 OS, which keeps your phone up to date. Decorating to your choice can be a bit hectic as there is no default custom interface.

What’s most interesting is its 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. You won’t notice any lag when operating your phone, but that’s not better than last year’s Motorola One 5G. Still, you will feel smooth in operation. Not only the day-to-day tasks, but you can also enjoy games with the greatest satisfaction. According to performance, Motorola has proven its value to users. That’s why 2.2 GHz clock speed is a nice addition to the Motorola One 5G UW Ace smartphone. It doesn’t disappoint with visual performance either because there is an Adreno 619 graphics unit. This model comes cheaper with all the strong features.

Dig down to the deep inside, you will get only one variant of this model. This can create confusion as to whether you should buy this phone or not. If you look at other alternatives, you will find more options in this budget. If you feel limited to 4GB and 64GB variants, you should go for another option. But the good news is that you can use a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

Camera

When checking the camera section, you will notice a 48 MP triple camera that is quite popular today. Whether for night or day conditions, you can click some decent photos. Though highlight could be sometimes brighter than you imagine, you have to adjust the setting options. Except for the main camera, there is an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro as well.

There are HDR support is present which capture detailed photos in daylight. With proper exposure and texture in the photo, it can prove to be a good companion. Night Vision mode may not impress you with its performance but you can use LED flash if needed.

In terms of the front camera, you’ll have a 16 MP selfie camera which is pretty impressive. You don’t have to worry about the quality of your photos because the HDR feature will definitely improve the quality. When recording videos, this will have a big impact on you. With adequate lighting, you can take some surprisingly good 4K stable videos, while the selfie camera lets you capture 1080p videos. Another admirable quality of the Motorola Ace smartphone is its gyro-EIS feature and you no need to worry about shaky footage.

Battery and Others

Moving on to the battery section, you should praise the model as it offers long battery life. Coming with the Li-Po 5000mAh battery, you can spend all day without charging. If you use your phone in battery-saving mode, it may provide two days of power supply. On the other hand, you will have support for 20W fast charging. Just to reduce the cost, you won’t have any wireless charging support or reverse charging. The price of the Motorola One 5G UW Ace smartphone is $290 (Rs 21,000) approx.
