Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus Smartphone Review – Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi always brings powerful features in an appropriate price range, that’s why they are the third most popular brand in the market. Recently, the smartphone makers are releasing yet another exciting phone in the mid-range known as the Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus alongside the Redmi Note 11T Pro. Though, we are getting this product slightly late compared to other markets since the device launched in May 2022 in mainland China.

Anyway, the first impression about this phone looks pretty superb as the company anticipated bringing top-notch specs and features that usually every smartphone user craves. Whether you talk about the display or the battery, everything looks quite impressive on paper. But as we all know, you can’t trust the specs until you experience the phone in your hand. Worry not, we will cover every detail about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus in the following review.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus Smartphone Review

Highlights

  1. The phone arrives with a 6.6-inches IPS LCD panel that grants a superb 144Hz refresh rate with HDR10 support.
  2. Looking at the hardware department, the Dimensity 8100 chipset is a good choice for this phone.
  3. As for the software layering, the smartphone maker provides the Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin.
  4. Speaking of the camera end, a 64 triple camera module with a 16MP selfie lens.
  5. The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ brings a 4400 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus arrives with a minimalistic design layout that grants a premium experience when you are holding the phone. Besides this, the company tried to adjust the camera module design a bit so that the overall appearance looks refreshing, but in the grand reality, it looks pretty standard. As for the shade options, the smartphone makers render Blue, Silver, and Black colors, which you can choose anything.

On the other hand, there’s no denying that each color variant looks classic and professional, while our personal favorite is the Black shade options. You can pick any option that fits well according to your performance. Moreover, the build quality of the Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus looks pretty appealing and attractive at the first glance, even though, you are getting a plastic body.

As for the additional perks, the device has splash resistance, which is more or less meaningless in day-to-day usage. Anyway, since the phone got a 6.6-inches IPS LCD panel, it’s normal to set a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Aside from this, the brightness nits are average, you won’t be able to use the phone properly in the outdoor condition.

Following this, you are getting a 144Hz refresh rate with HDR 10 crisp contrast for watching HD quality content, while at the same time, the Dolby Vision gives more vibrant and vivid colors that make the viewing experience pretty immersive. However, if the company increases the brightness, the display would feel astounding.

Memory and Internal

The MIUI 13 is thoroughly optimized by the Android 12 features and grants an impressive user experience, while you will get loaded with custom perks inside the interface, which will allow you to customize the interface according to your requirement. But at the same time, you will notice an equal share of bloatware apps. Hopefully, you won’t notice ads inside the interface that much. Furthermore, the phone brings a high-end refresh rate.

Plus, the hardware section equips a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset that performs pretty well for regular usage. With this chipset, the processing can go up to 2.85-GHz cloaking speed, which is considered good for the mid-range phone. Apart from this, the graphic unit grants ample support for causal games.

But, the graphic quality is better than what we were expecting in the first place. In terms of the storage options, you are getting three storage variant that houses 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal space. At the same time, you will obtain 8GB RAM support in each variant. The starting variant is a superb deal as you are getting enough UFS 3.1 storage with appropriate RAM power. Though, you won’t acquire any secondary storage unit here.

Camera

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus 5G smartphone has a good 64MP primary lens that captures fine details and renders proper colors and contrast in the daylight. On top of that, the lowlight photos are also looking finely detailed and don’t have that much oversaturation. During the camera test, the primary lens quality stays constant throughout the review. But the same thing can’t be said for the secondary camera unit.

Aside from the main lens, the 8MP ultra wide lens does have a dynamic range with a better viewing angle. But it won’t increase the colors and contrast the main lens, which is visible when you are taking photos. Finally, there’s a 2MP macro lens that shoots portrait photos with decent edge detection. Moving to the front, you will attain a 16MP selfie lens.

The selfie camera experience does look promising and the image quality is beautiful compared to other brands. But at the same time, there are some limitations that camera tech isn’t able to handle. Still, the device captures colorful photos. Speaking of video recording, the primary lens can record up to 4K videos, while the selfie lens can go up to 1080p. However, you won’t receive proper video stabilization.

Battery and Others

The Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus is powered by a Li-Po 4400 mAh battery setup, which easily renders more than 5+ hours of screen time. After completing the Call of duty gaming session for two hours, there’s still 48% battery remaining. Even after this, the battery percentage is around 11%, which looks reasonable.

Following this, the phone will only take 20-minutes to refuel the battery from flat to 100% using the 120W fast charger. If you want to reduce heating, you can also use the slow charge mode. As for the sound output, the phone does give crisp audio. Plus, the stereo speaker output is quite loud. Finally, let’s talk about the cost. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus is priced at $290 (Rs. 22,990 in India) approx.
