Design and Display
Tecno decided to go with a very unique design philosophy that we haven’t seen for a while. Most phones these days feature a single color or single pattern design on the back of the smartphone. While they are not bad in any way, they can get quite boring over time. If you are looking to switch it up when you buy a new smartphone, then the Tecno Camon 20 is the one you should go for. The new smartphone from Tecno features a shiny diamond cut pattern on the back of the smartphone.
The body of the smartphone is made out of plastic but is quite tough and won’t bend or break easily. The smartphone is further protected by IP53 dust and water resistance.
On the front of the smartphone, there’s a 6.67 inches AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and features accurate colors. There’s also an always-on feature that will display the time and some key information at all times without consuming too much battery. The phone has a triple-camera setup, with a 64MP main camera, which manages to take decent pictures. The pictures tend to have a high dynamic range, proper white balance, and excellent detail level.

Conclusion
The Tecno Camon 20 smartphone seems to have all the main specs and features such as a FullHD+ display, a huge battery, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and even IP protection for dust and water resistance. While these are essential parts of every smartphone, it does miss out on some other features, such as high refresh rate support, 5G connectivity, high nits brightness, and ultra-wide or telephoto camera.
Not only this, the Camon 20 smartphone equips an average chipset and so the performance is also not going to be extraordinary. Even the camera disappoints and 4K recording is also missing on the smartphone. Without a doubt, there are good sides also, but we can’t ignore the downsides when alternatives are providing a better deal at this price point.
Overall, the price you are going to pay does not justify the value you receive from this device. In our opinion, you should go for alternatives such as the Samsung Galaxy F34 which provides better specs, hardware, and value for money deal at a similar price point. However, the final decision is up to you and your expectations from a smartphone.
