Design and Display

The Realme 11 Pro is a premium smartphone and it has got the looks to back it up. The back is made out of vegan leather materials and there’s stitching around the camera module that flows all the way to the bottom frame of the smartphone, giving the smartphone a nice touch. The frame of the smartphone is curved to provide a comfortable grip. The smartphone is available in Oasis Green, Sunrise Beige, and Astral Black color options. Both Oasis Green and Sunrise Beige color options feature vegan leather back, but the Astral Black colored version of the smartphone is made out of plastic materials.

For the display, you get a 6.7inches AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution with HDR10+ certification and up to 1 billion colors support. The curved display gives the smartphone its allure. It looks beautiful and watching content on the phone is an absolute delight. The display panel has a 120Hz high refresh rate, which combined with the fast chipset enables a smooth user experience. The panel also gets plenty bright at 950nits peak brightness under direct sunlight, enough to make the screen perfectly readable. However, the smartphone lacks IP resistance or display protection. Besides this, the device is lightweight as it weighs around 183 grams.

Memory and Internal

The Realme 11 Pro comes with the 6nmMediatekDimensity7050 chipset that can reach up to a 2×2.6GHz clocking speed. Most other smartphones of this price range are clocked at 2.2GHz. Being higher clocked, this allows the chipset to process operations a lot faster and this makes the experience of using this smartphone an absolute breeze. The chipset has enough power to run everyday apps without heating up or consuming too much battery, thanks to the 6nm manufacturing process.

The GPU in the Dimensity 7050 5G chipset is the Mali-G68 MC4 has enough power to run demanding games like PUBG mobile, CODm, and even Genshin at a smooth playable framerate. The chipset also includes a 5G modem, so the smartphone is 5G-ready and capable of delivery near gigabit download speeds. For RAM and storage, the phone can be purchased starting from 8GB RAM / 128GB internal storage with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. When it comes to the software side of things, the smartphone is running on the latest Android 13OS with RealmeUI 4.0 user interface. With all this set of specs, you will not face any type of performance issues on this smartphone.

Camera

The Realme 11 Pro sports a dual rear camera system with a 100MP sensor as the main camera. It may seem like the smartphone features a triple camera, but the third camera is a stub. It doesn’t have a real sensor. But that doesn’t mean the camera system is bad by any means. In fact, the main 100MP sensor is capable of taking some exceptional shots. It’s a decent sensor that is optimized to capture some really detailed pictures with good dynamic range, true-to-life colors, and great white balance.

The quality and the detail level of the camera don’t diminish at night, thanks to the night mode. The night mode algorithm combined with the stability of the OIS leads to some well-lit shots even if the environment didn’t have that much light in the first place. The pictures had some incredible details and the colors were perfectly natural. Aside from this, there is a 2MP depth lens present on the dual camera module.

The selfie camera features a 16MP sensor, which is also capable of capturing selfies with good colors, even skin tone, and a decent level of detail. As for video recording, the phone can shoot at a maximum of 4Kvideos@30FPS from the rear camera and 1080p@30FPS from the selfie camera. The rear camera is also stabilized by both OIS and gyro-EIS, which will result in some extremely stable footage when recording videos. All in all, the camera setup is worth appreciation as per the pricing point of the device.

Battery and Others

The Realme 11 Pro smartphone has a Li-Po 5000mAh battery that is capable of providing an excellent battery backup that can last for 2 days with light to moderate usage. But, if you play too many games on the smartphone, the battery will not last that long and will require frequent charges. Most modern games tend to be very power-hungry and no battery can last that long when gaming.

But, if the smartphone does run out of battery, the smartphone has support for 67Wwired fast charging, which will quickly recharge the smartphone battery. Apart from that, the phone also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an under-display fingerprint scanner, GPS, and stereo speakers. The smartphone is available starting at $258 (Rs 24,000 in India) approx. for the base variant.

Conclusion

For the Realme 11 Pro, the company made some bold claims about the performance, camera, curved display, and the kind of experience the smartphone can deliver, and the smartphone has more or less been delivered on all fronts. The curved display looks absolutely gorgeous. The performance of the chipset is more than fast enough to deliver a smooth user experience. The camera is exceptional and the battery can provide fantastic battery backup. Even the design of the smartphone is so unique and elegant.

But it will come down to the price of the smartphone. The smartphone is great, but if it’s not priced right, it will fail to impress the customers. However, we are happy to report that the price of the smartphone is indeed great for a smartphone of this caliber. Speaking of downsides, the absence of reverse charging and ultrawide lens may disappoint some users, anyways the device is worth buying. However, if you are not interested in Realme or if this smartphone is not available in your country, then you should look at the newly released Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo that was announced in 2023. Its chipset is even more powerful and it is priced close to Realme 11 Pro. So, you want to keep an eye out for it when it goes on sale soon, while the final decision is up to your requirements from the smartphone.
