Recently in October 2023, Google launched its new flagship smartphone Pixel 8 with a price tag of $699 (Rs 58,000 in India) approx. On the front, the Pixel 8 equips a 6.2-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+resolution support. The main panel can get up to 1400-2000 nits of peak brightness, which will ensure proper visibility under direct sunlight. Also, the screen has Gorilla Glass Victus protection and the device has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Google Pixel 8 can be purchased in three colors – Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose.

The new Google Pixel 8 smartphone comes with the latest Android 14 OS and has been outfitted with the 4nm Google Tensor G3 chipset. The chipset can reach up to a 1×3.0 GHz clocking speed making it capable of running all your daily apps and games smoothly in daily usage. Apart from that, the Google Pixel 8 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, whereas the base variant arrives with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while there’s no secondary card slot.

Let’s talk about the camera, the Pixel 8 comes with a triple dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens support. The smartphone can capture stunning photos in daylight and lowlight, also the smartphone is capable of recording 4K videos with 10-bit HDR, OIS, and gyro-EIS support. The selfie camera is a 10.5MP ultrawide sensor that can take decent selfies and record 4K resolution videos. The smartphone comes with a Li-Ion 4575 mAh battery with 27W wired charging. Also, the Pixel 8 supports 18W wireless and Reverse wireless charging support.
