Asus released its new flagship smartphone known as the Asus ROG Phone 8 with a price tag of $950 (Rs 78,999 in India) approx. Speaking of colors, the Asus ROG Phone 8 is available in Phantom Black and Rebel Grey. The device features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 165Hz high refresh rate, 1 Billion colors support, and up to 2500 nits of peak brightness.  The smartphone is also protected by IP68 dust and water resistance, and even the display has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Asus ROG Phone 8 smartphone is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is clocked at 1×3.3 GHz. The Asus ROG Phone 8 smartphone has a 5500 mAh long-lasting battery with 65W fast charging support for international variants, while the Indian variants support 30W fast charging support. Also, the smartphone supports 15W wireless and 10W reverse wired charging respectively. For memory and storage, the Asus ROG Phone 8 is available with 12GB to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of faster UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Now Let’s talk about the camera, the ROG Phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor with gimbal optical image stabilization (OIS). The international variants have 32MP telephoto lenses and 13MP ultrawide lenses, while the Indian variants have 13MP ultrawide and 5MP macro sensors. The smartphone will be capable of recording videos in 8K resolution at 24fps with HDR10+ and gyro-EIS support. The front-facing camera is a 32MP sensor that can take decent selfies and record 1080p videos.
