The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro smartphone was launched in January 2024 as a flagship smartphone. The smartphone comes with a price tag of $1350 (Rs 1,12,200 in India) approx. On the front, you get a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED display panel with up to 165Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits of peak brightness under direct sunlight. The panel also supports 1 Billion colors and HDR10 support. The display experience is amazing also it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and IP68 water and dust resistance. The device is available in a single Phantom Black color and weighs around 225 grams.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro smartphone features the 4nm Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with fast processing speed. This processor has all the speed you require to run all your apps and games as it can reach up to a 1×3.3 GHz clocking speed. The smartphone can be purchased with 16GB to 24GB of RAM and 512GB to 1TB of internal storage option. The ROG Phone 8 Pro has a 5500 mAh battery, which can last around 2-3 days. When it comes to charging, the smartphone supports 65W wired charging for international and 30W wired for Indian variants. Also, the smartphone has 10W reverse wired and 15W wireless charging.
When it comes to optics, the ROG Phone 8 Pro has a triple camera system at the rear that includes a 50MP primary sensor with gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. The primary camera is capable of recording 8K videos at 24fps with gyro-EIS and HDR10+ support. However, the 32MP front camera is only capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps without any video stabilization.
