Ulefone Power Armor X11 Pro

Ulefone Armor X11 Pro Smartphone Review – The Ulefone smartphone has always been the best companion for frontline workers due to its sturdy build and lots of extensive perks that you might not find on regular phones. However, for the last few years, we don’t see anything major improvement in the overall build or something that makes them just their true worth. The Ulefone Armor phones community is quite small, and you won’t see more than four smartphones in a year.

But those phones always bring good specs with a heavy build. Recently, the smartphone makers unveiled the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone, which is available on online from September 2022. At the same time, the phone looks like it has a design to appeal to the entry-level segment market, which is visible in the internal specs. Let’s head toward the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro review to find out more details about this phone.

Ulefone Armor X11 Pro Smartphone Review

Highlights

  1. The phone undoubtedly got a heavy body with a standard 60Hz HD resolution 5.45 inches IPS LCD panel.
  2. As for the software end, the company is providing the latest Android 12 interface without any bloatware apps.
  3. The hardware section brings an Helio G25 chipset to handle your day-to-day task without any hassle.
  4. In terms of the camera setup, you are getting a 16MP dual camera island with a 5MP selfie lens.
  5. Under the hood, the company provides a Li-Po 8150 mAh battery capacity with a charger inside this box.

Design and Display

The in-hand experience with the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone does feel like the regular armored phone, while at the same time, the company added a texture of plastic and rubber to enhance the durability of this phone. Besides this, the camera module is the only place where you won’t find the rubber coating, instead, it covers the whole camera body.

Moreover, you can also purchase an exclusive Armor cover to attach different accessories to the phones. The side panels are quite thick, and the phone roughly weighs 330 grams, which is still less than the regular Ulefone smartphone. But still, the Miltary grade body with IP rating support, makes the phone sturdy to use in extreme conditions. It’s not like Xiaomi’s armored phone, which doesn’t even support proper outdoor usage.

Anyway, you will find a 3.5 mm jack, SIM slot, and charging port covered with the rigged cover. Plus, there’s a dedicated AI customizable button on the left-hand side, while the volume rocker and power buttons are present on the right-hand side. Though, you won’t get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. But the company provided optical ID, Pin, and Password as the security features.

On the other hand, the front display experience is pretty average even though the company is rendering a 5.45 inches IPS LCD panel because the colors and contrast will be slightly off. But still, the viewing experience is quite good, and you can stream content in 720p resolution without any hassle. Though the brightness nits are slightly behind the standard, still, they are better than entry-level smartphones.

Memory and Internal

Undoubtedly, the hardware department is the weakest point of the Ulefone Armored X11 Pro, it doesn’t even stand a chance against the 2022 average entry-level smartphones. The reason for that is the company is providing an ancient chipset that was used four to five years ago phones, and for today’s requirements, it might not able to provide ample multitasking features.

The 12nm MediaTek MT6762G Helio G25 chipset can handle normal usage, while causal gaming is still possible with this chipset. But we won’t suggest you play long gameplays with this phone in the first place. However, the software end is thoroughly optimized for the users’ requirements, thanks to Android 12 firmware. Moreover, the interface doesn’t have a bloatware app.

Therefore, you will obtain a clean UI experience and you can also download your favorite apps from Playstore without any trouble. Speaking of which, the smartphone makers offering the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone with the usual 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage unit to store all of your multimedia files. Furthermore, a dedicated micro SD slot is present in the SIM tray that can expand storage up to 128GB easily.

Camera

The camera quality of the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone exceed form the initial expectation as the company improved the image processing unit to some extent. With this, the photos from the 16MP primary lens are looking presentable in proper lights. In the daylight, you will notice fine details with apt colors and sharp contrast. But as you zoom in on the photos, you will get distorted images.

In terms of the lowlight photos, the camera results might not be that great compared to the competition. But, the noise reduction can be seen with the native camera app. Aside from this, the 2MP depth lens captures decent photos, while the Autofocus makes portrait photos slightly more attractive. On the other hand, the 5MP selfie lens produces mediocre results.

The camera app might not have different modes and functions, as it appears with limited and necessary resources to enhance the camera experience of the users. Hopefully, the 1080p video recording results are quite excellent, still, the lacking of video stabilization will reduce the end result quality.

Battery and Others

The Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone comes with a tablet-sized Li-Po 8150 mAh battery that can stay active for more than three days on a single charge. In terms of time usage, you can further expand the screen time to 10 hours in simultaneous usage, which is quite great. Apart from the long-lasting battery, you also get a standard charge and a cable bundle inside the box.

Through that, the phone will roughly need three hours to completely recharge the battery to 100%. At last, let’s talk about the sound output, there’s a 3.5 mm jack port with decent loudspeaker support. Though, it may feel pretty underwhelming compared to his sibling Ulefone Power Armor 16 Pro. Anyway, the price point of the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone is around $170 (Rs 13,999 in India) approx, which is a value-for-money deal as an armored phone.

Conclusion

Not everyone wants a flashy design phone with messy battery life, especially in the entry-level segment. But when we talk about armored phones, it’s a completely different story. Generally, this segment of users wants tough phones that can support them during extreme frontline working environments. In that case, the Ulefone Armor X11 Pro smartphone does look like a decent phone.

But on the same note, the performance end could have been better, while the unexpected camera quality does give an edge with the latest Android support overcoming most of the shortcomings. However, if you can spend a bit more, we would recommend the last year’s Ulefone Power Armor 14 Pro for its all-rounder features and better protection than this phone. But the final decision is in your hand, so choose the phone wisely.
