Design and Display
The Tecno Spark 10 5G is a beautifully designed smartphone that looks aesthetically modern and eye-pleasing. It features a flat design with flat sides and a flat back, like most other phone designs, which is kind of reminiscent of the iPhone series. But that’s not to say the design is bad. It’s actually quite an interesting design. It features a 3D-esque design with metallic cards stacked side-by-side and also on top of each other. The design is great and that’s complimented by a new camera design.

For the display, you get a 6.6-inches IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the device disappoints a bit with its low 720p resolution and default nits brightness.

The internal specs of the smartphone are simply incredible. Most other smartphones these days are fitted with older chipsets of 2022 or even 2021. Unlike those smartphones, the Tecno Spark 10 5G comes with 7nm Mediatek Dimensity 6020, which is a brand-new chipset from 2023. This chipset can reach up to a 2×2.2GHz clocking speed and has enough power to breeze through Android everyday apps. On top of that, the architecture of the device makes it quite efficient in terms of power consumption. In simple terms, the CPU is more than decent for the price of the smartphone.
The GPU in the chipset is the Mali-G57 MC2, which has enough power to run PUBG mobile, CODm, and even Genshin at a smooth playable framerate. The Tecno Spark 10 5G smartphone sports a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a secondary depth camera. The main rear camera actually has a decent sensor. The 50MP camera captured some really good pictures with good dynamic range and true-to-life colors, but the level of the details was not quite on point. At night, it gets worse and the pictures look soft and the true-to-life color science is no longer the case here. However, turning on the night mode does bring back some of the lost details and colors, but it also brings back shutter lag.
So, you will need to hold the camera steady when taking pictures with the night mode. The selfie camera, on the other hand, was quite decent, especially if you consider it just has an 8MP sensor. However, it was splendid for the price it asks for. It managed to click some amazing selfies with good colors and a decent level of detail. As for video recording, the phone can only shoot at a maximum of 1080p videos@30FPS from both rear and selfie cameras. Anyways, the camera department is far behind as compared to other options available in the market.
Battery and Others
The Tecno Spark 10 smartphone has a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery. This is a high-capacity battery and it can easily power the smartphone for 2 days on moderate usage. But, the same cannot be said during a prolonged gaming session. With gaming, it may barely last a full day, but you can recharge it back quickly as the smartphone has support for fast charging.
The phone only supports 18W of fast charging, but it’s still better than the normal chargers that you get with other smartphones at this price range.
