Memory and Internal
The Motorola Moto G24 with the MediaTek MT6769Z Helio G85 4G SoC and it can reach clock speeds of up to 2×2.0 GHz. Its raw performance is on par with other smartphones in the same category and can run all the apps that you use smoothly. The chipset is a bit older at this point but considering the price of the smartphone, we can ignore it.
The Mali-G52 MC2 is also quite decent and can run games like PUBG mobile and even CODm at good framerates. For RAM and storage, the smartphone comes with up to 4GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. This eMMC storage will bottleneck the chipset, so the app loading speed could be a bit on the lower side.
The use of faster UFS storage would have been greatly appreciated. There’s no 5G connectivity in this smartphone. Motorola made this decision to keep the cost in check. As for the software, the smartphone is running on Android 14 OS with a stock user interface for a clean Android experience. There’s a headphone jack as well as stereo speakers, which certainly boosts the surround sound experience.
Camera
Motorola has equipped the Motorola Moto G24 with a 50MP dual rear camera system. The primary camera consists of a 50MP sensor and it is capable of taking some great pictures with high detail levels and a natural color tone. Also, during the night, you can switch on the night mode inside the app and it will further boost the picture quality.
As for the selfies, the smartphone has an 8MP sensor that is capable of taking some decent selfies. The pictures have natural colors and the subject’s facial features are captured correctly. As for video recording, the Motorola Moto G24 can shoot at a maximum resolution of 1080p@30FPS from both the rear and selfie cameras.
Battery and Others
The Motorola Moto G24 has a 5000 mAh battery. This is a high-capacity battery that can provide good battery backup. The battery can easily last as much as 2 days, provided it is with low to medium usage. But if you are a gamer, then it won’t last that long. However, the 15W wired fast charger can bring it back up in about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
You will find the charger in the box, unlike other smartphones where you need to purchase it separately. Apart from that, the phone also has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone is available for purchase at $145 (Rs 11,999 in India) approx.

Conclusion
The Motorola Moto G24 is the perfect smartphone to go for on a budget. Let’s start with the display, you get a great display that is perfect in so many ways. The chipset can also go toe to toe with other smartphones in the same price range. The same goes for the cameras and the battery.
On top of these, the smartphone sports a decent design that won’t embarrass you when you take it out of your pocket. The smartphone also has dust and water resistance. Its only real con is the lack of 5G but considering the price, it can be exempted.
It has many modern features that you will rarely find in other smartphones in the same price range. But if this smartphone is not available in your country, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi 13C. It not only brings 5G but also has better features in almost every way. But then again it also costs a bit more. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your needs and requirements.
