MediaTek Dimensity 1000C octa-core SoC announced with dual display, 120 Hz and 5G connectivity support
New MediaTek Dimensity 1000C processor announced – In the company’s 5G chipset portfolio, the newest entry being revealed is the MediaTek Dimensity 1000C mobile SoC. According to the company, advanced AI features enhanced display capabilities and premium 5G experiences are provided by this new SoC.
In addition, it was also announced by MediaTek that the LG Velvet smartphone is the first smartphone equipped with a MediaTek processor with 5G support in the USA will mark its availability on T-Mobile’s 5G network. As of September 10, it will be available in the United States and a monthly payment installment option will be offered by T-Mobile.

Up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM clocked at 1,866 MHz and USF 2.2 storage are supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000C. In terms of camera support, up to a single 64-megapixel sensor or a configuration of up to 32 megapixels + 16 megapixels can be handled by the Dimensity 1000C. In addition, for this SoC 3,840×2,160 pixels is the maximum capture resolution.
