Energizer H67G

Energizer H67G Smartphone Review – The Energizer H67G was announced in January 2024 and will go on sale sometime in February. The smartphone will be available for order globally and will ship to users in many countries. Energizer’s smartphones are best known for their battery powers, so they are very popular among battery enthusiasts.

Energizers promises to provide the same great battery with this new smartphone through the use of clever hardware design and a good capacity battery. It was also designed to offer modern technologies such as 5G connectivity, making it a great smartphone in the budget segment. The new smartphone also looks similar to the Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra.

However, that smartphone is a whole different kind of beast and targets a different demography. Today, we are focusing on this new smartphone release from Energizer. So, let’s begin with a detailed review of the Energizer H67G and see if this smartphone is worth purchasing.

  5. The Energizer H67G has a Li-Po 4900mAh long-lasting battery with an 18W wired fast charging support.

Design and Display

The design of the Energizer H67G looks very pleasing to the eyes. It features a very rugged design but unlike other rugged smartphones, it doesn’t look too bulky and the matte black finish on the smartphone also looks quite cool. There’s a big circular camera module on the rear with the company logo at the bottom but other than that, the smartphone features a very clean design.

It is relatively comfortable to hold but it is slightly on the heavier side at about 287g weight. On the front, you get a 6.78-inch IPS display with 90Hz high refresh rate support. As it is an IPS display, the viewing angles are fantastic and the color reproduction of the panel is tuned reliably. So, the viewing experience will be quite pleasing.

It is also an FHD+ panel, you will find the display extremely pleasing and you won’t find any blurriness of any sort. This is where many smartphone manufacturers cheap out and provide an inferior 720p display but Energizer went with a FHD+ panel.

Memory and Internal

The Energizer H67G is designed with the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chipset that is capable of delivering clock speeds of up to 2×2.0 GHz. This is an octa-core chipset where there are two performance cores and six efficiency cores. Together, they provide all the performance you need to do what you do on a smartphone, including emails, texting, GPS, and more.

It runs all the apps smoothly and efficiently. The same performance level is also carried over to the gaming side of things. So, playing games like PUBGm, CODm, and even Genshin Impact will be no problem. The Mali-G57 MC3 will run them pretty smoothly. The smartphone also supports 5G connectivity.

For RAM and storage, Energizer H67G is available with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. When it comes to the software side of things, the new smartphones are running on Android 13 with a stock user interface for a clean and pleasant user experience.

Camera

The Energizer H67G features a 48MP triple rear camera system. The main 48MP sensor is capable of producing some great pictures with good clarity, details, and color tone. But the same cannot be said about the 5MP ultra-wide camera, which takes pretty average pictures at best and gets crushed at night.

Even during the day, the fine details in the ultra-wide pictures are lost even if you zoom slightly. However, the night shots with the main camera are quite decent, especially when you turn on the night mode. On the front, the Energizer H67G features a 24MP selfie camera, which produces better and brighter images.

These selfies are quite good considering the price you paid for the smartphone. When it comes to video recording, both rear and selfie cameras can record videos at a maximum of 1080P@30FPS resolution, but no form of video stabilization.

Battery and Others

The Energizer H67G has a Li-Po 4900 mAh long-lasting battery, which should provide 1 – 3 days’ worth of battery life depending on how you use the smartphone. This is thanks to the use of power-efficient chipset and other components. The optimized internals consume very little power during normal day-to-day usage, so it is capable of providing a fantastic battery.

But if you are a gamer, then the battery will last much less than that, so do keep that in mind. However, the smartphone supports 18W wired, which should fully charge the smartphone in under 3 hours easily. Apart from that, the smartphone has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Energizer H67G is available starting at  $335 (Rs 27,999 in India) approx.

Conclusion

Energizer smartphones are known for their amazing battery performance. They have smartphones with a battery size of 18000mAh, which is 4.5 times more than anything you can get with an average consumer smartphone. This is why Energizer has created a niche for itself and their smartphones are celebrated by their users and for good reasons. But that smartphone is not the Energizer H67G.

Don’t get us wrong. This new smartphone is a really good smartphone for the price it asks for but it’s not the Energizer smartphone you know and love. That’s because the battery capacity inside the smartphone is quite smaller compared to their other smartphones. To be honest, this smartphone’s battery is quite good and on par with many other smartphones in the market.

But without the high-capacity battery that Energizer smartphones are known to have, the Energizer H67G is just another average smartphone in an industry full of other average smartphones. What this smartphone provides is also provided by many other smartphones in the market. There’s no unique quality in this smartphone that Energizer smartphones always had. So, is this smartphone for you?

Well, if you don’t need that big of a battery and just require a good and strong smartphone with balanced specs, then this smartphone can be quite good for you. But if a large-capacity battery is a priority for you and you don’t care much about other things, then this smartphone is not for you. Instead, you should go with the Oukitel WP33 Pro, which has a huge battery and will satisfy your battery needs completely. But if you happen to like the new Energizer H67G, what you get are a great display, chipset, and decent battery and they are its biggest pros. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.
