In October 2023, the Vivo company released its new budget 5G smartphone known as Vivo Y78t. As for pricing, the phone starts at $205 (Rs 17,199 in India) approx. It features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. When it comes to the software side of things, the smartphone is running on the Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 user interface for better customization support. For RAM and storage, the phone can be purchased with up to 8GB to 12GB of RAM and 128GB to 256GB UFS 2.2 of internal storage.
The Vivo Y78t sports a dual rear camera system with a 50MP sensor as the main camera and a secondary 2MP depth camera. The selfie camera features an 8MP sensor and it can capture decent selfies that won’t break the record but are not bad either. As for video recording, the main camera records 4K videos but the selfie camera can only shoot at a maximum of 1080p at 30FPS. The smartphone has a high-capacity Li-Po 6000mAh battery that can cover for at least 1–2 days with light usage. Thankfully, the smartphone has support for 44W wired fast charging, which will quickly recharge the battery. The phone is available in three colors: Black, Blue, and Silver colors.
