ZTE Axon 30 Pro

ZTE Axon 30 Pro Review, Pros and Cons – Like most Chinese smartphone makers, ZTE also has a diverse range of devices, whether it’s game-centric or mid-rangers series. The company launches the ZTE Axon 30 Pro smartphone on April 2021.

Although, like most ZTE devices, the Axon 30 Pro phone will be exclusively available in the native market. Also, there is no news about the global launch. In terms of features, the Axon 30 Pro is somewhat reminiscent of the OnePlus 9R smartphone. Anyway, you’re getting 5G technology, so there is not much to worry about. With that said, let’s move on towards an in-depth review of the ZTE Axon 30 Pro smartphone.

ZTE Axon 30 Pro Review

Highlights

  1. A 6.67 inches AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate further expands your wings with 1 billion color saturation.
  2. As for the performance factor, the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset hardware offers exceptional support.
  3. In terms of photography, you’ll get a high-end quad-camera module with a 16 MP selfie camera.
  4. MyOS 11 custom UI work perfectly in all situations, with the Android 11 operating system on top.
  5. You can hold a Li-Po 4200 mAh battery and inside the box, there is a 55W fast charger.

Design and Display

The ZTE Axon 30 Pro smartphone comes with a premium and sleek design that features an impressive glossy layout. But what makes it even more intriguing are the color choices. You can get Black and Pink colors, each one is good. If you want class, the black shade variant is an excellent choice. But if you’re looking for something out of the box, the pink variant would be your dream choice.

In addition to the color options, the slim design gives a feeling of superiority over the regular phone. Furthermore, the coating of the gorilla glass 5 has advantages and provides a feeling of security. As far as the safety factor is concerned, you will get a fingerprint sensor under the screen with face ID unlock. In addition to these features, the build quality is something worthy of note.

There’s a liveliness to every frame that makes the colors and contrast jump off the screen. You won’t be disappointed with the 6.6 inches AMOLED panel, and there are two reasons for that. First, the advanced level 120Hz refresh rate enhances the smooth experience. Second, HDR10+ support improves overall color saturation. Plus, 1 billion colors provide additional charm.

Memory and Internal

The processing section handles the performance with a 5nm Snapdragon 888 chip inside the ZTE Axon 30 Pro. In addition, the low-latency cores allow for hassle-free multitasking and present an elegant feel. You will get a single 2.84 GHz speed, which contains the overclocking capabilities, while cores have 3x 2.42G0Hz clock speed.

For minimal usage, there’s also a standard four-core batch with a clock speed of 1.80 GHz. With this configuration, you don’t have to worry about performance lags or hiccups. Still, at lower battery capacity, you’ll notice a slight drop in performance. You can also use battery saver mode to extend battery life. But when it comes to gameplay, you can play high-end games in next-level settings and features.

Also, the impressive touch sampling works as a big advantage as it reduces the ping rate and provides remarkable results. However, you will not get the secondary storage slot. That’s not bad though, as you’ll get a basic 6GB RAM variant that includes 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As for the higher variants, you can buy 8GB of RAM with 128GB of space, while with the same RAM, there’s 256GB of storage also available also.

Camera

The ZTE Axon 30 Pro phone camera software comes with some exceptional features and lenses. But at the same time, there are some minor glitches in the low lights. Still, the good thing is that the phone offers an excellent lens. You’re getting a dual 64 MP camera where one works as the main camera while the other works as an ultrawide angle lens.

Camera technology is even more impressive than previous models, even the secondary camera unit is quite impressive. You can capture dynamic range photos with 2MP depth and 5MP macro lens. Also, the overall color saturation looks real, not artificially made. Following that part, the front display features a 16MP dot notch selfie module that takes decent images in all conditions.

You can record 4K video from both side camera modules, and ultra image stabilization features are available for best results. Lowlights and other aspects are also attractive, but all that’s missing is a periscope lens for everything. There are gyro-EIS, dual-LED and Panorama options available for the rear camera.

Battery and Others

ZTE Axon 30 Pro smartphone is powered by a Li-Po 4200 mAh battery that can last more than two days on a single charge. Plus, you can use your phone continuously for over six hours with maximum settings and features. Inside the box, there is also a 55W fast charging blessing that quickly charges 4+. Thanks to Quick Charge 4+ technology, the Axon 30 Pro needs just 40 minutes or less to completely charge your battery.

When you’re considering a flagship phone, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro delivers exceptional results. Whether it’s a performance pillar or its camera technology, but what makes this phone more interesting is its extreme price. You can buy this phone for around $450 (Rs 33,000) by spending a few more dollars for higher variants.
