The corporation will make this camera available by September this year. According to the report, this camera will be used first in Sony’s future smartphones.Sony has given this info through its blog post.

According to Sony’s blog post, this 48-megapixel image sensor ‘IMX 586’ has a size of 0.8 microns’ pixels. The premium smartphones launched in recent times have increased demand for improved quality and more influential camera. Sony’s 48-megapixel camera can capture pictures of high end resolution. Since of this, the smartphone can get image excellence like DSLR.

At current, the highest resolution camera sensor is 40 megapixels, which is newly launched in the Heway P20 and Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphones. Sony’s camera usages an apple in its iPhone. It is predictable that this camera can be used in the high end or best smartphone that launches following month in the market since September.

Talking about the core features of Sony’s 48-megapixel camera, it can take pictures of 30 frames per second. Moreover, 4K (4096 x 2160) video can capture at the rate of 90 frames per second. Though, the company has not made it clear anything which smartphone will be used in this Camera.
