Whatsapp's new feature will be examine the news being shared on the Whatsapp stage to discover whether the news is fake or true.

Recently, due to the coronavirus lockdown, WhatsApp has updated its features and allows users to create Whatsapp room group chats with up to 50 users. This feature has been available on WhatsApp since Facebook announced Messenger Rooms.

Facebook said that this feature is an alternative option to Group FaceTime, Zoom, and Google’s meeting. Whatsapp owner company Facebook wants to expand the capacity of Instagram and Whatsapp, and the application is updated to support this feature. This feature is not yet available in all countries.

To use the WhatsApp video group chat, you need to install the Facebook messenger on your phone, as WhatsApp is redirected to the Messenger application when creating a chat room. It is not mandatory to have a Facebook account to participate in the chat room, but if you want to create a video chat room, you must log in with the Facebook account.

Here are the simple steps you need to follow to create WhatsApp Room Video Group Chat

  1. Open WhatsApp and create a new group or select the existing group chat room.
  2. After creating your group, click on the + or attachment sign select WhatsApp room icon.
  3. You need to select “Continue in Messenger”.
  4. From there, you can share the chat room link with others to join.

Note that the Whatsapp room is actually using Messenger rooms and is not secure. It is not end-to-end encrypted like a WhatsApp video call.
