WhatsApp rollouts Picture-in-Picture utility for iPhone

Picture-in-Picture support for video calls previously available to beta users on iPhone now rolling out to all users across the globe.

Picture-in-Picture support for video calls for iPhone users was announced last December, now supported on devices running on iOS 12.0 and later.

WhatsApp version 23.3.77 also allows users to multitask during a WhatsApp video call by minimizing the WhatsApp app.

iOS Picture-in-Picture support for video calls allows users to carry on the communication without a pause.

The new update provides new definitions for group chat with added support for longer group subjects and descriptions.

Apart from personalized groups, to cater to the users of other instant messaging apps WhatsApp has introduced personalized Avatars.

The new update provides a new way of expressing yourself by creating personalized Avatars and using them as Profile pictures and stickers.

Options to create personalized Avatars have been included in the Avatar tab under the WhatsApp setting menu.
