Samsung MX to develop exclusive chipset for flagship Galaxy smartphones.

Reports disclose the arrival of an exclusive chipset to be developed by Samsung Electronics as the alternative to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The chipset will be able to reach up to a 3.36GHz clocking speed in comparison to the usual 3.19GHz clocking speed of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The in-house chipset will be developed by Samsung MX.

More details are expected to be unveiled in the first week of February by TM Roh - President and Head of Samsung Electronics MX division.

The exclusive chipset is rumored to be offered with the latest upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 flagship series.

Samsung Electronics, which is going to develop the chipset is the same company that manufactures Galaxy devices.

Samsung Electronics is different from the company that designs the Exynos series chipsets i.e. the Samsung System LSI.

The new chipset from Samsung Electronics is likely to arrive with a 3nm chipset.

However, the arrival of a 3nm size on the S23 series is a low probability.

Rumours say that the Samsung S23 series will have 256GB storage on the base variant, while the OneUI 5.1 interface may also be introduced.
