Bullitt and MediaTek collaborated to release the first Satellite

British Company Bullitt along with the collaboration of MediaTek sets to launch messaging over satellite messaging service on their upcoming smartphones.

This will be the very first Satellite-to-mobile messaging smartphone, where a user on a satellite network can connect to another user on a regular cell network.

Apple had already released its SOS and location-sharing system that only lets you communicate with emergency services.

As per reports, SpaceX and T-mobile are also working on this technology to build a more reliable system.

The British company Bullitt is known for manufacturing durable and rugged phones for professionals in fieldwork.

Motorola Defy is one of the well-known phones built by Bullitt as an extra durable phone.

The satellite-to-messaging service technicians will ensure that the users can always receive and send messages far away from cell towers.

Bullitt has been working on this project along with MediaTek for more than 18 months.

As per tests performed, the Bullitt phones successfully connected to the satellite at an altitude of 600km in around 10 seconds

The technology will be launched in the first quarter of 2023 as per Bullit and MediaTek.
