Real battery-saving mode to be roll out on the new Apple's WatchOS 9.
The power-saving mode alerts the user at reaching 10% charge, and turns off automatically at 80%.
Features such as heart rate monitoring, AoD, blood oxygen, etc will be
turned off during power-saving mode.
WiFi and cellular connection will turn off when no iPhone is connected
to the smartwatch.
Screen navigation and performance of the smartwatch may be reduced during
power-saving mode.
Within iPhone's range, the watch will postpone notifications that will
be delivered every hour.
Workout reminders will be automatically turned off during power saving mode.
The power-saving mode can be controlled manually through control center.
Data connection will be re-enabled for apps that requires internet connectivity.
This latest feature will help users having an extended battery life of
the WatchOS9 smartwatch.
