How to Update from MIUI 11 to MIUI 12: MIUI 11 was released in November 2019 and gradually it was rolled out to all the devices. Within a period of 6 months, Xiaomi has come up with MIUI 12 which brings a bunch of new features as well as improvements such as super wallpapers, new animations, improved privacy and security, completely revamped notification panel and much more.
Xiaomi has released the first nightly build in China to certain users for testing and the stable build will be released in the next month. It is expected that MIUI 12 will be rolled out for other countries in the coming months of the year.

How to Update from MIUI 11 to MIUI 12
You can easily update your device from MIUI 11 to 12 in the following ways in case you do not receive any notification for the update.
- Open the “Settings” app then click on “About phone”. Here you will see System update and you can tap it to check whether you have got it or not.
- In case you see Update available then you can simply download and update to MIUI 12.
However, there is one more way to get MIUI 12 update which is to install it by unlocking your phone’s bootloader and hence get a TWRP recovery. In this way, you can get MIUI 12 instantly with no wait.
