Google and Apple have removed TikTok from their app store in India, as per reports from Reuters and Quartz. The move pursues a request from the state court on 3rd April to boycott access to TikTok on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store. This step was taken after concerns were raised that individuals were utilizing tiktok for explicit purposes and misusing youngsters.

TikTok App is Banned in India

TikTok has been downloaded in excess of 230 million times in India, as indicated by examination firm Sensor Tower. A TikTok agent disclosed to The Verge and said that the organization has “confidence in the Indian judicial system,” including that “we are hopeful about result that would be generally welcomed by more than 120 million active user in India.”

The Indian court’s examination concerning TikTok has been in progress for a long time.
