SanDisk Extreme and Extreme Pro Launched in India – The renowned company Sandisk has already launched its two high-powered SSDs in India, which are Western Digital’s SanDisk Extreme and SanDisk Extreme Pro portable SSDs. SanDisk Extreme SSDs support up to 4 TB, while the Extreme Pro model comes with an aluminum body for heat dissipation that can work under strong pressure. 1Tb Micro SD was launched by SanDisk last year.
Both SSDs come with 256-bit AES hardware encryption that will help keep your content secure with password protection features. Another interesting fact is that the Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD offers up to 2,000 MBps of reading and write speed.
SanDisk Extreme and Extreme Pro SSDs features and price
Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD is categorized into 4 options – 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB. The 500 GB model is available at Rs. 7,999, the 1 TB model is available at Rs. 12,999, the 2 TB model is available at Rs. 27,499. The price of the 4 TB model has not yet been released. The expected availability for both SSDs is from April 2021.
Sandisk Extreme Pro is categorized into three options – 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB. The 1 TB model is available for Rs 19,999 and the price of the 2 TB model is slightly higher than the 1 TB model which costs Rs. 34,999. There is no information on the price of the 4 TB model.
There is a limited-time offer of Rs 1000 for Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD – 1 TB and Rs 600 for Sandisk Extreme – 500 GB on Amazon.
The SanDisk Extreme SSD includes read and write data with transfer speeds of up to 1,050 MBps. With the durable good-looking silicone casing, it also offers additional protection. Both SSDs have updated AES encryption and password protection for security.
