Samsung announced its new budget 5G smartphone Samsung Galaxy A16 with a price tag of $220 (Rs 16,249 in India) approx. The Samsung Galaxy A16 phone is available in Blue Black, Light Gray, Gold, and Light Green colors. As for the display, this phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz high refresh rate. The display can reach 800 nits under direct sunlight, so using the smartphone outdoors won’t be an issue. However, the screen has no protection and an IP54 dust and splash resistance. The smartphone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 for better customization options and has up to 6 major Android upgrades.
For memory and storage, the Samsung Galaxy A16 can be purchased in 4GB+128GB storage and 8GB+256GB storage. The company has equipped the Galaxy A16 with a 50MP primary camera at the rear with 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens.
