Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite

Redmi Note 10 Lite Review, Pros and Cons – The Redmi Note 10 series is one of the best smartphone lines this year. From entry-level to mid-range devices, everything comes out in this series. Fortunately, the same thing can be implied in the Redmi Note 10 Lite smartphone released in October 2021. As for current availability, the phone is available in the Indian smartphone market, which covers a large part of the market capitalization. In addition, the company also launches the Nota 11 series.

However, the phone may not have the trendy features, but the overall value-added specs make the Note 10 Lite an attractive deal. The software may not leave any marks, but other features such as performance, battery life, and screen appearance are very good. If you are thinking of purchasing this phone, it is recommended to read the Redmi Note 10 Lite detailed review.

Redmi Note 10 Lite Review

Highlights

  1. The Note 10 Lite comes with a 6.67 inches IPS LCD display that offers decent level pixel density.
  2. The performance section deals with the Snapdragon 720G chipset and Adreno 618 GPU.
  3. As for the software layers, you are getting the MIUI 11 user interface based on Android-10 OS.
  4. In terms of camera specs, manufacturers feature a quad-camera configuration with 48 MP as the main camera and 16 MP as a selfie camera.
  5. Battery configuration includes a Li-Po 5020 mAh battery with an 18W fast charging support on top.

Design and Display

The design is reminiscent of last year’s Redmi Note 9 series, while here you’ll have aesthetic color options that you can choose according to your tastes. There are options like Aurora Blue, Glacier White, Interstellar Black, and Champagne Gold that guarantee a premium look. Plus, it’s the glass back you usually do not see on midrange phones.

The back panel is glossy glass, but the glass is not smudge-proof. As for the overall look, you won’t be disappointed with the build quality, nor does it look like a cheap phone like other Infinix phones. Then you will also get the side-mounted fingerprint reader as a safety factor. Plus, you’ll also have a 3.5mm jack on the bottom, though there’s no noise-canceling secondary mic.

The front screen doesn’t have a smooth, advanced refresh rate display, nor is it HDR-certified, but all it has is the 6.67-inches IPS LCD display panel. However, the viewing experience isn’t as bad as expected; you’ll get decent color and saturation with a wide level of pixel density. Fortunately, the Redmi Note 10 Lite smartphone offers the coring glass-5 protection that works like a cherry on top.

Memory and Internal

At the very least, it runs better processing power than [[Redmi Note 10 Prime]], and you’re getting better performing cores to support going up to 2.3GHz. It’s really nice to see that on this midrange phone. Underneath the hood, you’ll have the 8nm Snapdragon 720G chipset that can match up with some major 2018 chips easily, while the software edge looks smooth and optimized for users.

At the same time, Redmi Note 10 Lite brings Android 10 with custom MIUI 11 layers. The combination looks out of date and is really out of date from a tech geek’s perspective. But for regular users, it won’t be any problem as it will offer subtle features and functions, all according to need. Even if the phone has a relatively old version of Android, the biggest concern would be adware and bloatware.

Although you can disable bloatware to some extent, you cannot do anything about this adware. But, consciously or unconsciously, users of Redmi mid-range phones have already unconsciously accepted this. As for the storage option, manufacturers offer various options from 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage combination, alongside the dedicated secondary MicroSD slot. With the wide variety of storage options, you can choose anything that suits your needs.

Camera

The camera quality looks excellent in daylight and color saturation is fabulous. Then you’ll get tons of filters, and the AI software is subtle. On the other hand, photos in low light would be as disappointed as you’d expect. Unlike Redmi Note 10S, which offers the 64MP primary snapper, here on Redmi Note 10 Lite you will get a 48MP primary shooter.

As for the secondary camera, you’ll get an 8MP ultra-wide sensor that takes natural shots at a decent wide-angle, although this lens sometimes stretches the shots. However, shots with macro lenses are noteworthy, as you’ll capture fine details like you’ll get on the Redmi Note 10 Pro or 10 Pro Max. Also, the 2MP depth lens delivers medium portrait images, albeit at least sometimes edge detection is not so good.

In terms of videography, it is still possible to record videos in up to 4K with the EIS-gyro turned on. But if you want to experience maximum video quality, then you’ve tuned the videos to 1080p at 60fps. However, the phone offer gyro-EIS stabilization. However, you will get awesome features in the native camera app. The 16 MP selfie camera, photos, and videos are good with HDR and panorama effects.

Battery and Others

The battery life can still be similar to that of the Infinix Hot 11i as you will get a Li-Po 5020 mAh battery with support for fast charging of 18W. With this setting, you won’t have any problems in the long run as you will get a screen time of 8 hours and be able to play for more than 3+ hours games. Also, the charge will take an hour and a half to fuel the phone from zero to 100 without any hassle.

However, the experience with the sound quality was underwhelming, but the worst was not said, but the mediocre track will follow. As for the other sensor, everything works very well on a day-to-day basis. Now the question remains: is it worth buying the Redmi Note 10 Lite for 12,999 INR? You should certainly buy this phone for its comprehensive features if you are not worried about bloatware or adware. This phone would be a great deal if you avoid the old android 10 OS.
