Realme Q2i Review
Highlights
- The device has a 6.5 inches IPS LCD screen with decent pixel density and HD resolution.
- Realme Q2i is integrated with a triple-camera, which includes 13 MP as the main sensor and also has an 8 MP selfie port.
- The Android 10 OS based on Realme UI integrated with the phone
- Support of 4 GB of RAM and storage of 128 GB of internal space.
- A huge Li-Po 5000 mAh battery pack comes with a standard 18W fast charging pad to power the phone.
Design and Display
The design implement on the Realme Q2i resembles in some way the design of the Realme C series with a typical texture with no particular modern aspect, just a simple layout with a camera plate and fingerprint reader. As for the front, the phone features an edge-to-edge borderless frame on the 6.5 inches IPS LCD screen and offers Full HD resolution.
On the other hand, it offers regular thickness with medium weight, which means that you will have a feeling of lightness when holding the phone, even if the gorilla glass is missing from the paper. It would be a big problem since it is a basic smartphone.
Memory and Internal
The hardware set of the MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chipset powered the system and will provide day-to-day usage requirements, increasing processing speed by the octa-core processor.
The processing unit guarantees the maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz, which is quite moderate and adequate and has mediocre Mali-G57 MC3 graphics. The Realme UI software skin is placed on the Android 10 operating system to combine immersive features and customization in the system interface.
As a basic smartphone, the internal storage of 128 GB is quite decent, in addition to sufficient and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. On the same note, having it cover everything from HD videos to state-of-the-art game configurations. It didn’t have SD card support, and having a microSD card in the SIM slot just adds to the burden.
Camera
The triple camera features under the square plate on which the 13 MP lens goes up to 4K video resolution, all due to the software and chipset support. Likewise, the 2 MP macro and the 2 MP depth work very well in daylight settings.
Other than that, the 8 MP front selfie camera is presented on the screen, which produces satisfactory images and videos. However, the tables were turned against Realme Q2i, as it did not support many camera software in terms of low light image or video configuration.
Battery and Others
The Li-Po 5000 mAh battery offers wonderful screen time for games and also for streaming content. In addition, the stationary 18W block increases the charging speed than the average smartphone module. It will survive up to half a day in extreme use.
Other than that, the low sound output is one of the main disadvantages of the Realme Q2i smartphone, but the other sensor and fingerprint scanner works well.
