So, let’s see a detailed analysis of Realme Narzo 20 and Narzo 20 Pro smartphones.

Realme Narzo 20 and 20 Pro Review

Highlights

  1. Both phones feature a new V for Victory design that literally fascinates the user.
  2. The Pro variant includes an interesting 65W SuperDart charger, while the lower variant charges the battery with only an 18W charger.
  3. Both devices offer a 48 MP main sniper alongside other additional sensors for camera addicts.
  4. With Realme 2.0 UI based on Android 10, the Narzo 20 series offers more than expected with new modes and controls.
  5. Realme shipped both phones with Mediatek Helio processors for unmatched and perfect performance.

Design and Display

Both Realme Narzo 20 and 20 Pro has a shiny reflective background with a “V for Victory” design that can make people turn their heads and notice the stylish design. Although, you can get some fingerprints marks due to the plastic body. Moving forward, the Narzo 20 has a totally exclusive V-shaped design with a matte finish on the rear. Interestingly, the back with a matte texture does not pick up stains and has a decent grip feel.

As we move into the display section, the Pro variant hosts an updated 6.5 inches FHD+ IPS LCD panel and, surprisingly, the refresh rate has risen to 90Hz. With a minimum of bezels and an in-display punch hole camera, the viewing experience jumps to the next level. On the other hand, the Narzo 20 has a competent 6.5 inches mini-drop IPS LCD screen still attached to the same HD+ resolution according to its price.

Memory and Internal

In Narzo 20, Realme went from Mediatek Helio G80 in Narzo 20 to improved Mediatek Helio G85. Leaving aside paper benchmarks, daily performance looks fast and smooth. In addition, the games will also have no problems with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.

The top variant, the Narzo 20 Pro, hits the market with the Mediatek Helio G95 processor geared towards games paired with Mali-G76 MC4. Games are one of the highlights of Narzo 20 Pro, along with multitasking tracking and switching between apps.

Under the hood, both smartphones are running Realme UI 2.0 on the latest Android 10 with advanced privacy protection, numerous customizations, floating windows, Realme sharing, and many other features.

Regarding the memory department, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro equips 6 or 8 GB of RAM supported by 64 or 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. On the other side of the coin, the smaller brother the Narzo 20, is seen shipped with 4 GB of RAM coupled with 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. A professional on both devices is the dedicated micro SD slot for further storage expansion.

Camera

Let’s turn our attention to the optics, we have very good camera settings on both Narzo 20 series. With a 48MP AI quad-camera combination, the Narzo 20 Pro takes beautiful pictures until you get enough light on the sensor.

The level of detail must be quite engaging because of the high-resolution 48MP sensor. In addition to the main sensor, there are other sensors as well, 8 MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors. We have many amazing camera features, like chroma enhancement, Super Nightscape, 4K recording, etc.

Coming to Narzo 20, again we have a 48 MP lens as the main sniper, but this time it’s a triple camera module. The high-resolution sensor takes decent photos in daylight, as well as the dedicated night mode helps provide more light in dark conditions, but there may be some noise. Realme incorporates an 8MP ultra-wide sensor to capture multiple objects in a single photo, and lastly, there is a 2MP macro lens.

The selfie camera in Realme Narzo 20 has been downgraded to 8MP from 16MP in Narzo 10, but we should know that the resolution is not enough without good software optimization. In Narzo 20 Pro, Sony’s most used 16 MP sensor is there for an incredible selfie image.

Battery and Others

One of the biggest updates to the Narzo 20 Pro is the new 65W SuperDart charging technology that can charge the Li-Po 4500mAh battery 14% in just 3 minutes. On the contrary, the Narzo 20 draws power from a monstrous 6000mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging.

In addition, the Pro variant has a power button that functions as a fingerprint reader. In addition, it has an advanced carbon fiber cooling system for intense gaming sessions. The Narzo 20 starts from $ 170 (Rs 12,499) while Narzo 20 Pro sells on the market from $ 230 (Rs 15,000).
