Design and Display

The Realme GT3 240 smartphone features the classic glass sandwich design that we all come to expect now. It also features an illuminated RGB display on the back, which is new for the GT series of smartphones but looks cool nonetheless. The RGB part is simply a rectangular ring around the back. The Ring can glow in any color and can be customized to feature specific colors depending on whether you get a missed call or a text message or any other notifications.

This feature makes the smartphone stand out from every other smartphone in the market that claims to be the fastest smartphone. When it comes to the display, the Realme GT 3 features a 6.74 inches AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits peak brightness, and 1 Billion colors. The smartphone also has support for HDR10+ to view HDR content.

Memory and Internal

The Realme GT 3 smartphone is powered by the last year’s flagship 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. But just because it’s a year-old processor, it doesn’t mean that it is any slower than the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. In fact, you won’t even be able to see the performance difference between the two processors in any real-life day-to-day application. It is still one of the fastest mobile chipsets in the world and can handle everything, including graphics-heavy games.

The smartphone can also manage the heat effectively during gaming as it has a large vapor chamber cooling system that can dissipate the heat around to keep the processor from overheating and slowing down your gaming performance. Speaking of gaming, the Adreno 730 GPU powering the smartphone will provide high FPS and extreme graphics options in many popular games in the industry.

Apart from that, the phone also has 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM support coupled with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage. The base variant only has 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, but you can also opt for the higher RAM and storage variant, which will also cost a bit more. The smartphone comes with the latest Android 13 OS out of the box and has the new Realme UI 4.0 customization.

Camera

The Realme GT 3 smartphone has a triple rear camera system with a 50MP wide sensor as the main camera, an 8MP sensor as the ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP microscope camera. Both the rear cameras are exceptionally good for the price and take some great pictures with a wide dynamic range, excellent saturated colors, accurate white balance, and stunning details. While it has great cameras, it still won’t compare to the new Galaxy S23 smartphone.

After all, they are sold in two completely different price categories. The portrait mode featured in the smartphone also captures pictures perfectly and the edges of the subject look quite natural. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor that can take decent selfies with a good amount of detail. Even the skin tones are optimized to look natural and well-saturated. Even during the night, the camera is optimized to produce images that look quite decent with a good amount of details and colors.

When it comes to video recording, the Realme GT 3 can shoot up to 4K at 30/60FPS from the main rear camera and 1080p from the selfie camera. The footage recorded from the rear camera is quite stable as the camera features OIS combined with gyro-EIS support.

Battery and Others

The Realme GT3 phone has a Li-Po 4600 mAh battery that can last the smartphone for about 2 days of general day-to-day usage. However, if you play a lot of games, it will not last even a full day. Gaming can consume a lot of power, so you will have to put the smartphone on charge at the end of each day after a heavy gaming session. When it comes to charging, the smartphone has support for up to 240W of fast charging, which the company claims can fully charge the smartphone in just 10 minutes.

That is just magical and can come in handy when you are late for the office and need to quickly top off the battery. It has an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, which is accurate and responsive. Apart from that, you also get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, GPS, and USB Type C port for charging. The phone was announced on February 28 and will cost around $649 (Rs 53,690 in India) approx.

Conclusion

If you want a premium user experience that doesn’t lag or slow down even after years of usage, then the Realme GT 3 240W charging smartphone is to get. Not to mention, the smartphone will be available for a much cheaper rate than any other similar price-ranged smartphone in the market.

Everything from the design to performance to the battery is properly optimized to provide the best user experience possible. Not to mention, the cameras are also incredible, both the rear and the front cameras. The only downsides are the lack of wireless charging, gorilla glass protection, and lower camera performance. If you’re looking for an alternative option with a better camera and in the same price range, check out the OnePlus 11 smartphone.
