Realme C85 Specifications
Realme announced the C85 on November 2, 2025, as part of its new generation of affordable 5G smartphones. The phone blends style with toughness. It’s IP68 and IP69K certified for dust and water resistance and even meets MIL-STD-810H standards, making it one of the most durable phones in its range. The C85 features a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1200 nits, ensuring smooth scrolling and good outdoor visibility. However, its 720 × 1570 pixel resolution and 254 ppi density mean you don’t get the sharpness of a Full HD+ panel. Still, the screen feels bright and responsive for watching videos or gaming. The phone’s design is modern and slightly rugged, measuring 8.4 mm thick and weighing 215 g. Realme has also added a unique RGB notification light on the back, which gives it a nice touch of personality.
Under the hood, the Realme C85 runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6 nm process. The octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU deliver stable performance for multitasking, social apps, and light gaming. It supports up to 256 GB of storage and expandable memory through a microSD card that shares the SIM slot. In the camera department, the Realme C85 offers a 50 MP main shooter with PDAF support, LED flash, HDR, and panorama features. The photos look crisp in daylight and decent in moderate lighting. Video recording goes up to 1080p at 120 fps, which is impressive for slow-motion shots. On the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie camera that captures clear images with natural colors and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. It may not be a flagship camera setup, but it’s more than capable for everyday use and social media uploads.
Powering it all is a large 7000 mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery that easily lasts a full day and beyond. The 45 W fast charging support refills it quickly, and Realme also includes reverse wired and bypass charging options, which are rare in this segment. Connectivity features include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC (in selective regions), GPS, and USB-C 2.0 with OTG support. There’s no 3.5 mm jack or radio, but the loudspeaker output is solid. The phone will be available in two color options, Green and Purple, and expected to launch soon at around $118 (Rs 10,499 in India) in India. Overall, the Realme C85 is a well-balanced mid-range phone with strong durability, a smooth high-refresh display, reliable performance, and a huge battery. While its HD+ resolution and slightly heavy build might not please everyone, its features and toughness make it a great choice for users who want a durable 5G phone with all-day endurance and modern looks.
