If you’re a fan of the Realme brand, you can take a look at your new member called the Realme C25 smartphone. The Realme C25 is a low-budget phone and was released on March 27, 2021.

The C25 comes with features almost similar to the C21 smartphone. The huge battery, latest OS, and processor can instantly attract many users. Without further ado, let’s begin the detailed review of the Realme C25 smartphone.

Realme C25 Review

Highlights

  1. The 6.5 inches IPS LCD screen has a 720p resolution that has set an industry standard.
  2. Android 11 comes with Realme’s most popular UI 2.0 customization.
  3. Whether for lite games or daily tasks, MediaTek Helio G70 integrated with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 graphics delivers fabulous performance.
  4. In terms of camera, you will get a 13MP main camera if you are in India, while the international market is getting a 48MP main camera instead of a 13MP.
  5. The Li-Po 6000 mAh battery is another awesome feature with 18W fast charging.

Design and Display

Comes with a plastic body, sports a shiny back cover, and the brand name is engraved on the back. The Water Blue variant has a similar texture to the Water Gray variant. Both colors seem standard to everyone and you can notice fingerprint sensor is added a little higher than any standard phone. A tiny square space is reserved for the camera.

It is quite bulky at 209g in weight and because of the finished design, your phone doesn’t scratch so easily. The solid 9.6mm thick rounded edge provides a comfortable grip.

Like its previous model, the Realme C25 also comes with a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display, but with different brightness of 480 nits. Although the glow feature isn’t all that attractive, it does provide decent use in your miserable moments. The 720p resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio has set an industry standard for low-budget smartphones.

Memory and Internal

If you’ve wanted to update your operating system for a long time, here’s the scope to buy it with the latest one. The Android 11 comes with Realme UI 2.0 interface. It claims that you can perform many tasks with ease. Chatting, browsing, watching videos, playing lite games are possible because of the Mediatek Helio G70 chipset. You can customize your phone according to your choice as well and this makes the interface much smoother.

Although Realme has added the mid-range 12nm MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, it is different from other Realme C series. Integrated with the chipset, the Mali-G52 2EEMC2 graphics unit offers a decent visual experience. The processor features a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, which is good for daily uses. There is the C15 Qualcomm edition phone is also available in the market definitely take a look.

If you are limited by the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, you can definitely choose the superior variant, 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. You have the option to upgrade storage via a dedicated microSD card. Overall, the built-in features are definitely good for low-end smartphones.

Camera

If you are a nature lover and take pictures frequently, cameras can be a little disappointing. In terms of the camera, the band played a trick on the features. If you are in India, you will have a triple camera with a 13 MP main camera instead of the 48 MP camera that is available in the international market. But the other features are similar. You will have 2 MP depth and 2MP macro cameras respectively connected to the main camera. With significant filters and AI effects, the C25 offers some decent images for your regular purposes.

Daylight photos are very vibrant and colorful. Secondary cameras are also powerful for capturing details in your photos. Due to the presence of a depth sensor, you will have a blurry background.

On the other hand, with the standard 8 MP selfie camera, it is possible to create some sharp details in your photos. For lowlight may make you regret it. With the help of both cameras, you can record videos up to 1080p resolution. Unfortunately, there’s no stabilization feature and sometimes you may have photos that are overexposed to daylight.

Battery and Others

Realme is taking care of the battery life much more than other features. Just because of the Li-Po 6000 mAh battery, you can play lite games and watch movies for 8 hours. But the 18W charger doesn’t fall into the fast category because may takes almost 3 hours to fully charged the battery. One more thing to mention is its reverse charging facility to charge other devices. The price of the basic variant is $170 (Rs 12,000) approx.
