The updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset will be released with the next Poco smartphone

The company announced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC processor for the latest mid-range smartphone. It is an updated version of the Snapdragon 730G and offers better performance along with an improved CPU and GPU with smarter and faster artificial intelligence (AI).

In a Press release, the company announced the Snapdragon 732G SoC processor will appear first for the Poco phone and the name of the phone was not disclosed yet. Features like 4th generation Qualcomm and Snapdragon Elite Gaming are also offered by the new SoC.

The Same Qualcomm Kryo 470 CPU features are in the Snapdragon 732G Soc processor but slightly fast clock speed. The Snapdragon 730G has a Kryo 470 CPU with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz, while the Kryo 470 CPU with a frequency of up to 2.3 GHz is present in the latest Snapdragon 732G. Enhanced graphics rendering is offered by the Adreno 618 GPU on the Snapdragon 732G, when compared to the previous version, according to Qualcomm.

Intuitive interactions and predictive user experiences are offered by Snapdragon Elite Gaming and 4th generation Qualcomm, which are present in SoC with distributed intelligence twice as powerful when compared to previous generations.

Battery performance is also improved by it and a Qualcomm Snapdragon X15 LTE modem is also present in the Snapdragon 732G SoC, for connectivity. A Poco smartphone will mark the debut of the new processor, according to the company, but there is no announcement of any specific phone by the company.

Sam Jiang, Poco’s head of product, said they were extremely excited about the next Poco smartphone and their collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, which allowed the company to create the first device on the market with the latest Snapdragon 732G mobile processor. The phone will be a medium-range device, whereby the relationship between the price of the phone and its capabilities will be redefined, this phone’s launch time is not yet clear yet.
