Oppo A92 Smartphone

Oppo A92 was announced on 4th May 2020 and it will be available in the markets soon. It has an IPS LCD panel of 6.5 inches having a resolution of 1080 x 2400. The phone runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. The processor it is using is Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 having Adreno 610 GPU. Moving to the storage section, we have 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is UFS 2.1 type. There is support for external SD cards also.

Talking about cameras, there are four cameras – a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is support for 4K video recording and video stabilization also for steady videos. Oppo A92 sports a 16MP front camera in the form of punch hole cut-out with HDR support.

The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is expected to come for 250 Euros.

Oppo A92s Smartphone

Oppo A92s was announced just one month before Oppo A92 which is, in April 2020. The A92s sports a 6.57 IPS Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is boarded with a better processor, that is, MediaTek MT6873V Dimensity 800 5G having Mali-G57MP4 GPU. In the storage section, we get two variants – 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Further, storage can be expanded via an external SD card.

Moving to the camera section, there is no difference between A92 and A92s. Both have the same sensors and same camera features. Though both have different back camera designs. However, if we see in the front camera section, there are two cameras – a 16MP wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Oppo A92s has a bit lower capacity battery than A92, that is, 3890mAh with 18W fast charging. It comes in two color variants – Black and White. It might come with a price tag of 290 Euros.

Both the phones Oppo A92 and A92s have the same specifications in most of the sections. Like, they both have the same camera specifications, display resolution, side fingerprint scanner, etc. There are differences such as the A92s has a much better processor than Oppo A92. However, the A92s has a smaller battery as compared to A92. Also, there are two cameras in front of Oppo A92s while there is one in A92.

Conclusion

Both the phones have quite good specifications in this price range. The phones have the latest processors which are enough for daily tasks. Also, there is a set of cameras for professional photography. Though it would have been better if Oppo had given AMOLED display and 30W fast charging like Realme does in their phones. But if you are looking for camera-centric phones, you can obviously go for one of them.
