OnePlus Turbo 6V

OnePlus Nord CE6 Specifications

The OnePlus Nord CE6 is built like a tank but does not look like one. Announced and released in early May 2026, it packs a massive 8000 mAh battery that is almost double what many phones offer. You can easily go two full days on a single charge. And when you do need to juice up, it supports 80W wired charging, plus 27W reverse wired charging to top up your earbuds or a friend’s phone. It is also incredibly tough, with an IP68/IP69K rating (meaning it survives dust, high-pressure water jets, and being submerged in 1.5m of water for 30 minutes) plus MIL-STD-810H compliance. It handles accidental drops, rain, and messy adventures without breaking a sweat.

The 6.78 inch AMOLED display is a stunner 144Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and gaming buttery smooth, and with a peak brightness of 3600 nits, you will see it clearly even under direct sunlight. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset (built on a power efficient 4nm process) and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage handle daily apps and gaming with ease. It runs Android 16 right out of the box. One small catch there is no NFC so no Google Pay contactless payments, but you do get an infrared port to control your TV or AC, stereo speakers, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The camera setup is practical rather than flashy. The main 50 MP shooter has OIS (optical image stabilization) for sharp photos and smooth 4K video. There is also an auxiliary lens and a color spectrum sensor to help with color accuracy. Selfies come from a 32 MP front camera, which can also record 4K video. No 3.5mm headphone jack, but Bluetooth 5.2 supports high quality codecs like aptX Adaptive and LHDC 5. Available in Pitch Black, Lunar Pearl, or Blue, it is priced around $317 (Rs 29,999 in India) approximately making it a fantastic value if you prioritize battery life, durability, and a smooth display over features like wireless charging or NFC.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Pros and Cons

Based on the above specs, you can see the list of pros and cons (advantages and disadvantages) of the  OnePlus Nord CE 6 smartphone.

Pros

  1. The smartphone has a massive 8000 mAh battery. This phone easily lasts two full days of heavy use or up to three days with normal use without needing to charge.
  2. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate and 3600 nits peak brightness. This makes scrolling incredibly smooth and the screen very easy to see even under direct sunlight.
  3. The phone comes with IP68/IP69K dust and water resistance, plus MIL-STD-810H military durability. You can drop it, submerge it in 1.5m of water, or spray it with high-pressure hot water without damage.
  4. The device supports 80W wired charging with bypass charging capability. You can charge from 0% to 100% in under an hour, and bypass charging lets you use the phone while gaming without heating the battery.
  5. The main camera features OIS (optical image stabilization) for both photos and 4K video. This means your handheld shots and videos stay sharp and steady even in low light or while moving.
  6. The selfie camera can record 4K@30fps video with gyro-EIS. Your video calls and vlogs will look crisp and smooth without needing extra stabilisation gear.
  7. The smartphone includes an infrared port and 5G
  8. The phone supports reverse wired charging at 27W. You can quickly charge another phone, earbuds, or smartwatch directly from this device without needing a power bank.

Cons

  1. The phone has no NFC support at all.
  2. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. You must buy wireless headphones or carry a USB-C adapter just to listen to music with wired earphones.
  3. The USB port is only version 2.0. Transferring photos or videos to a computer is very slow compared to USB 3.x ports found on competing phones.
  4. The phone weighs 215 grams and is 8.5mm thick.
  5. The device lacks a dedicated telephoto or ultrawide camera. You cannot take true optical zoom photos or capture wide landscape shots properly.
  6. There is no announcement for Android version updates, which will likely stop after 1-2 years on this mid-range chipset model
