OnePlus 8T

OnePlus 8T Review, Pros and Cons – OnePlus are soon going to launch the successor of last year’s 7T, known as the OnePlus 8T. From 7T or OnePlus 8, you won’t notice much difference in the phone since they add up a few new things such as the camera board’s brand-new design with a boost in the macro lens. Apart from that, several rumors are pointing that it will launch on October 14th by the maker with its official specs.

This article is based on preliminary specs, although you didn’t need to be concerned about it because most of the specs are looking authentic according to our experience. Let’s start the OnePlus 8T review.

OnePlus 8T Review

Highlights

  1. The phone features a Snapdragon 865 chipset that takes performance to the next level with the help of the latest Android 11 OS.
  2. There will be a quad-camera configuration, featuring a 48 MP sensor as the main camera snapper.
  3. With the classic OnePlus design, several excellent color options are on sale.
  4. The company provides support for 65W fast charging for the 4500 mAh battery.
  5. The expected price of the OnePlus 8T should be around $ 600 (45,000 INR).

Design and Display

The sleek glass-body design matches the camera set. It is quite clear that the modular structure of the camera resembles the usual Oppo image, Vivo design in mind, and somehow also resembles Samsung’s A series. All due to the same camera design. In addition, there are exclusive color variants that enhance the phone’s layout such as Onyx Black, Glacial Green, Interstellar Glow, and Polar Silver.

We like the Glacial Green color option because, in some way, it gives the regular OnePlus feel, which we didn’t feel in other colors. Although it is our opinion, the remaining options are also conventional and superb on their own with their unique characteristics.

In addition to the design, the 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED flat panel offers many features, such as HDR10+ certified 120Hz refresh rate, gorilla glass version 5 protection, and a 20:9 aspect ratio which will give premium quality screen viewing experience. check out Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone comparison.

Memory and Internal

Starting with the software, the phone comes with Android 11 OS ready for use, with additional layers of the OxygenOS 11 interface, which also offers a clean, bloatware-free interface and some additions to the OnePlus pre-installation software. In terms of performance in OnePlus 8T smartphone, you don’t have to worry about anything.

Under the hood, it equips the phone with the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset hardware and also provides 5G connectivity. The pair of LDDPR5 with UFS 3.0 memory support embedded in the phone is 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Although it does not have a memory card port.

Camera

OnePlus tries to introduce something into the design of the camera instead of just copying designs from other companies and presenting the quad-camera configuration under the same layout. The format includes a 48 MP for primary, 16 MP for an ultra-wide sniper, 5 MP for macro, and 2 MP for depth sensors on the main camera board.

We expect the 16MP to be a telephoto sensor, but the recent report pointed out that it is an ultra-wide-angle sensor. In addition, the 16 MP camera is given for selfies and is quite impressive. In addition, it also increases the viewing aspect of the OnePlus 8T smartphone.

Battery and Others

The power of the 65 W fast charger that powers the huge Li-Po 4500 mAh battery, and with the help of the charger, the phone will take just 50 minutes or less to fill the battery.

Other than that, the quality of the sensor and communication is cutting edge and offers fantastic features for the user. Although you don’t see a 3.5 mm jack port here, the stereo speakers are adequate.
