At the end of July 2024, the Nothing company released a 5G smartphone known as the Nothing Phone (2a). On the front, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can get up to 1300 nits of peak brightness under direct sunlight. The display also supports up to 1 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 700-1300 nits brightness. A Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an IP54 rating are also present in this phone. and The Phone (2a) Plus will be available in Black and Grey color options. The device features a 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC that can reach up to a 2×3.0GHz clocking speed. For RAM and storage, the Nothig Phone (2a) Plus smartphone is available for purchase with 8GB to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, while there’s no card slot.

When it comes to the software, the smartphone is running on the Android 14 OS with Nothing OS 2.6 user interface for better customizability. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus sports a 50MP dual rear camera system with a 50MP sensor as the main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. On the front, you get an immersive 50MP selfie camera. As for video recording, the phone can shoot at a maximum of 4K videos@30FPS from both the rear and the selfie cameras, while the main camera has gyro-EIS support. 

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery that can cover you for at least 1 – 2 days with light usage, including some social media, texting, and some light browsing. Thankfully, the smartphone has support for 50W wired fast charging, which will fully recharge the battery in 56 minutes. Apart from that, the phone also has dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, OTG, stereo speakers, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The smartphone is available starting at $334 (Rs 27,999 in India) approx.
