Nokia C20 Pros and Cons

Nokia C20 Review, Pros and Cons – From normal GSM phones to smartphones, Nokia has come a long way. In the meantime, many other brands have also come and made their identity in this competitive phone market. The old brand, Nokia is still in the game and even giving the new one’s stronger competition. But the point is that the competitive features that other brands are offering override Nokia’s market demands. The strategy that Nokia brings is innovative and that is why they are still a popular entity worldwide and won the trust of users.

The Nokia C20 has a similar design to the X20 phone and we have already covered the detailed analysis of the Nokia C10. Today’s analysis would be on the Nokia C20 smartphone, announced on April 8, 2021. The C20 smartphone is an affordable phone for general users. Let’s find out more about the Nokia C20 smartphone.

Nokia C20 Review

Highlights

1. It has a 6.52 inches IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The resolution of 720×1600 pixels provides standard clarity.
2. Android 11 (Go Edition) is your system software that deserves to be highlighted in this budget.
3. Combining with the Unisoc chipset and an octa-core processor, the Mali-G52 works perfectly while you perform any task.
4. Where the rear panel has a 5 MP camera, the front camera also comes with the same feature.
5. The removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery provides enough power to perform regular tasks.

Design and Display

A person who is not a design geek simply loves the simple look, the Nokia C20 has the potential. Its interface is very responsive, for sure and a beginner will adapt the usage in a few days. The tall 6.52 inches LCD screen with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution displays a decent visual image. It is a stylish phone that is only 8.8 mm thick and weighs 191g approx. Overall the design of the phone is very comfortable to use and available in Sand and dark blue in the global market.

You will not see any glass gorilla protection on the screen and the fingerprint scanner. On the rear site, a circular camera plate is present, and at the bottom a single loudspeaker.

Memory and Internal

Nokia has always been concerned with its storage and memory section. This is one of the reasons why they are still in the game. The C20 smartphone comes with an Android 11 (GO edition) operating system without custom UI which is probably provided by other smartphone brands.

On the other hand, the Unisoc SC chipset is an entry-level feature. Although it has the most affordable price, the 28nm Unisoc SC9863A chipset can be a challenging entity for MediaTek in the future. The 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor takes care of the overall performance of the chipset. With the Mali-G52 graphics unit, the C20 offers a different level of visual experience. For playing lite games and general uses the C20 is a decent option at this price.

The phone comes with 2 storage variants – one is 1 GB of RAM with 16 GB of storage and the other is 2 GB of RAM with 32 GB storage. Its dedicated microSD slot allows you to do more with storage.

Camera

It is interesting to know why Nokia did not provide a much better camera. Where your competitors are launching low-budget phones, why does this old brand come with such an old and unattractive feature? Yes, the Nokia C20 has a 5 MP rear camera that discourages you every time you decide to buy. We have been addicted to taking photos and videos these days. So, the smartphone that offers a better option with the camera at an affordable price, comes first in mind.

With a 5 MP rear camera, photos will be full of flaws. In fact, the 5 MP selfie camera is standard. Both provide the same video recording capability. You can record a video at 720p max. If you are in a darker place, you can use the LED flash for both modes.

Battery and Others

Let’s look at the battery, which is one of the most important. The Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery offers satisfactory performance, but with limitations. You will have 4-5 hours of screen time. Its battery has a decent capacity at this price that is relatively good for Android users, but not for heavy use. The expected price of the Nokia C20 is $ 99 (Rs 7,000).

Conclusion

The brand has plans to conquer the market, but with some less advanced or much older features, it is losing people’s attention. If you are on a limited budget or Android user for the first time, you can choose the Nokia C20 phone. This phone is available in the global market and with a limited price range, this phone has decent specifications. There are other phones, like the Nokia X10, that come with future-proof specifications. Our alternative recommendation would be Samsung Galaxy M02, which will be more perfect for that budget.
