Nokia 2V Tella Review
Highlights
- The Nokia 2V Tella shines with a 5.45 inches HD display that can provide rich media consumption.
- A set of dual 8 MP cameras fits in the rear to encourage creative minds for photography.
- Typically, you are guaranteed a 2-days battery life with the competent 3000mAh battery.
- Pure Stock Android is integrated into the device for a smooth and clean experience.
- Mediatek Helio A22 is sufficient to handle normal and lite applications and games with low graphics.
Design and Display
The design and build may not be the best in the market as it seems like two years old handsets. But at this price range, no one can expect much from Nokia. Moving to the back, you can observe vertical stripes on a blue color removable back cover. Besides this, a dual-camera module remains intact on the back alongside a Verizon branding at the bottom. The 2V Tella phone is crafted using plastic which doesn’t feel very premium in the hand. Interestingly the phone lands with a Google Assistant button on the side.
Turning the phone over, we are greeted with an average of 5.45 inches HD IPS LCD display. Although the handset comes under the budget-friendly bracket however the ugly chins on the top and the bottom is a complete letdown. Still, the Nokia 2V Tella display delivers a decent and vivid media consumption experience. Glass protection is an exception here.
Memory and Internal
The Nokia 2V Tella is powered by a not very attractive Mediatek Helio A22 SoC, which does an excellent job when browsing applications. The chipset never strives to keep up with low-resource games and applications. Performance may not be completely agile and free of delays, but Stock Android will do that. But when games like PUBG or CODM come into play, you criticize it because of its less powerful cores and GPU.
The company is well known for its Android One experience program, which provides a pure and complete Android experience without bloatware and unwanted ads. Therefore, Android OS 10 makes the device experience rich and smooth.
The next thing to focus on, the memory section, with 2 GB of RAM paired with 16 GB of internal storage, ensures that the end-user has no problems when loading and keeping applications in memory. As internal storage is limited to 16 GB, support for external SD card offers a little peace of mind.
Camera
Let’s turn our attention to the camera, we received an 8MP and 2MP dual camera set. In addition, HDR photos will leave you very impressed with the excellent dynamic range. The camera app offers the option to record in 1080p quality with incredible clarity. In low light conditions, the 2V Tella fights very poorly together with focus problems.
Initially, the 5MP selfie camera can take very natural photos with Google’s efficient software. We know that the resolution is a little lower but the daylight image quality eventually impresses the user. If you are looking for a Nokia flagship phone then you can take check Nokia 8V 5G UW smartphone.
Battery and Others
The device consumes power from a removable 3000mAh Li-Po battery which makes it very convenient to replace the battery. According to Nokia’s statement, the 2V Tella can last for about 2 days without plugging it into any charging outlet. In addition, the chipset consumes less power and the compact screen size increases the backup battery.
Finally, Nokia devices always cost a little more than Chinese devices. Still, the brand’s value paves the way for its success. Therefore, the Nokia 2V Tella is listed for USD 167 (12,318 INR).
