New application venue for live events launched by Facebook: There is no doubt that the COVID-19 Pandemic affects everyone’s lives and also live events. This app is developed by the NPE team and the Facebook team has launched a new live event tool, known as Venus. The Venue app is now available on the Android and iOS platforms. The Venus app will help fans, celebrities, and expert commentators together on the same platform to experience live streaming events.
The Venue app helps with surveys, interactive questions, and chat during the live event. Despite live events and broadcasts, fans are looking for ways to get involved with others. The Venue app offers the option of interactive experience on the second screen. This application is not currently available in all countries.
The Venue app is a test in the Heroes 500 supermarket race, organized by NASCAR’s Food City. Time Clarke chief digital officer says that lovers and fans of live events around the world will enjoy the live broadcast from their home via the Facebook Venue application.
According to Facebook’s second screening, it has become a key component of live streaming, 94% of users watch live TV via smartphone. The venue is a companion to live sports and is designed in such a way that whenever a commentator to create new moments (live event) is created, fans get notified.
