Motorola Moto G9 Review, Pros and Cons – The basic product line from Motorola introduces its new member, the Motorola Moto G9, which was recently launched in India with a price of just 11,700 INR at around $ 160. As well as the company also introduces its sibling Moto G9 Play as the global variant of this phone. In other words, G9 Play is a redesigned version of the G9 without any changes to the internal specifications or external appearance. Let’s start the review of the Motorola G9 phone.
Motorola Moto G9 Review
- The Moto G9 is built in a plastic body and has an LCD IPS screen on the front
- A three-camera setup will expand the boundaries of photography, while a selfie port also provides fantastic images and videos to some extent
- In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 662 SoC delivers to provide all the daily processing and gaming needs.
- A 20 W fast charging that comes with a 5000 mAh battery
- This phone is available exclusively in India and, on the other hand, you can obtain the global variant in different markets
Design and Display
The sleek, simple design offers impressive style and class on the phone, and the plastic body cover comes with a water-repellent coating, which is pretty decent for an entry-level smartphone. However, Corning glass is missing from both the front panel and the rear panel. In addition, compared to its twin brother G9 Play, the G9 offers only two color options, Forest Green and Sapphire Blue, while Spring Pink has disappeared from the list.
The 6.5 inches 720 resolution IPS LCD combines a regular amount of pixel density. Still, due to Motorola’s internal configuration, you will notice a much better brightness experience on the Moto G9. However, on the other hand, 200 grams make the device a little heavier and thicker than the conventional smartphone.
Memory and Internal
The phone is powered by an octa-core processor that offers a clock speed of 2.0 GHz with its four cores, and the remaining four cores appear to have a cortex speed of 1.8 GHz. In addition to the processor configuration, the chipset from Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 can be counted as a relief because it improves performance slightly more than the regular Mediatek SoC. On the same note, the Adreno 610 graphic move immersively improves the game experience.
In addition, the 4 GB of RAM together with the internal storage of 64 GB is sufficient for regular tasks in addition to which you can easily add more space through the Micro SD slot. Under the hood, the Android 10 Stock interface software, the Moto G9, offers a clean user interface image with no bloatware issues.
A selfie port designed on an 8MP V-notch works in a decent way, and the triple camera configuration can easily compete with the standard medium budget smartphone as it includes the Sony 48 MP sensor with the typical combination of 2 MP depth and Macro goes beyond expectations. But it didn’t hit any ultra-wide-angle lenses on the camera plate. The basic camera features of the phone software dramatically increase the quality of images and videos. However, it only allows for a Full HD resolution videography experience, which has not gone further.
Battery and Others
In the battery segment, the company packs a huge 5000 mAh battery that equips
