Lenovo recently launched a budget-friendly Android tablet, simply called the Lenovo Tab, in August 2025. This 10.1-inch device is designed for everyday entertainment and light tasks. It offers a portable and lightweight build at just 425g with a slim 7.5mm profile. In terms of build, it features a glass front with a plastic frame and back. In terms of color options, it comes in two color options: Polar Blue and Luna Grey. The tablet includes a Nano-SIM slot on the cellular model for on-the-go connectivity, while the Wi-Fi version does not support SIM.
The Lenovo Tab features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, ~224 ppi density, and 400 nits typical brightness. The 16:10 aspect ratio makes it well-suited for watching videos and browsing the web. The hardware section is a bit underwhelming as you are only getting a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. Under the hood, it runs on an octa-core CPU, paired with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and storage options of 64GB or 128GB. The storage can be expanded further via a dedicated microSDXC slot. The audio experience is enhanced by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a classic 3.5mm headphone jack is included for wired headphones.
For photography, the tablet is equipped with a basic 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. In terms of video recording, the rear camera records up to 1080p videos, while the selfie camera goes only up to 720p resolution. Video quality is basic but sufficient for calls and occasional photos. If you are concerned about software, it runs on a clean version of Android 14. Priced at around $129 (Rs. 11,999 in India), the Lenovo Tab may not be feature-rich, but it is a functional and affordable choice for daily use.
