Xiaomi smartphones will get the Magic Clone feature with the latest MIUI 12 v12.0.2.0 update

Latest MIUI 12 update released with new features – According to the Xiaomi tweet, the latest MIUI 12 update began to be rolled out to Mi 10 phone users. The Chinese brand’s announcement last week was about the first wave of updated proprietary operating system (OS) that will be released in phases for selected smartphones, including the Mi 10 series. A fun Magic Clone feature is expected on the device with the latest update.

The MIUI 12 v12.0.2.0 version was announced by the Chinese brand Xiaomi on Twitter, launched at a different stage for Mi 10 users in India. It may take some time for the update to be detected on the user’s device as it is being rolled out in batches.

Last week, it was announced by the brand through a live stream that the updated MIUI 12 version will be released for Mi 10, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro users in August 2020.

Details were not shared by Xiaomi for the rest of the other devices. However, according to reports from last week, some Redmi Note 9 users have begun to receive the operating system update. Even Poco X2 users tweeted that they started receiving the MIUI 12 update features earlier this month.

Update from MIUI 11 to MIUI 12

A new UI experience enabled by system-wide animations and visualizations is promised by MIUI 12. Coming with an enhanced dark mode that covers system applications and third-party applications as well. The screen brightness, depending on the ambient light, can be adjusted by the new operating system and an ultra battery saving mode is introduced, which would increase the phone’s standby time and power consumption would be reduced, according to the claims from Xiaomi.

The ‘Magic Clone’ feature is expected to be received by the Mi 10 series update, which allows users to create and make virtual doppelgangers images and videos more interesting. To create a combined image, the same person or any other subject is captured up to four times at different intervals.
