Recently in August 2024, the Infinix company launched its new Zero 40 phone in both 4G and 5G variants. The Zero 40 5G smartphone is equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chipset, capable of reaching 1×3.1 GHz clock speeds. On the other hand, the Zero 40 4G features the Mediatek Helio G100 4G chipset that is capable of reaching 2×2.2 GHz clock speeds. Both smartphones come pre-loaded with Android 14 with an XOS 14.5 user interface for better customization support.

Both 4G and 5G variants have an IP54 rating for splash and dust protection, and Gorilla Glass 5 for display protection. Speaking of the screen, both the Infinix Zero 40 4G and 5G feature the same 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1B colors and 1300 nits brightness. The 5G variant has 144Hz refresh rate support, while the 4G phone has 120Hz refresh rate. The 5G variants are available in Rock Black, Violet Garden, and Moving Titanium color options, while the 4G variants are available in Misty Aqua, Rock Black, and Blossom Glow. As for the camera board, the smartphones have triple rear cameras with a 108MP primary camera and an immersive 50MP selfie lens.

Both smartphones can be purchased for RAM and storage with up to 256GB and 512 internal storage. The 5G phone has 12GB RAM support and the 4G phone has 8GB RAM. Both variants equip a 5000 mAh battery with 45W wired and 10W reverse wired charging, while the 5G phone has 20W wireless charging support. The Infinix Zero 40 4G is available for a starting price tag of $238 (Rs 19,999 in India) approx, while the 5G variant is available starting at $286 (Rs 23,999 in India) approx.
