Infinix Hot 11s

Infinix Hot 11s Review, Pros and Cons – The Infinix smartphone may not have as many fans following it, but constantly delivering impressive specs and features is increasing its popularity in target markets like Asian countries. Recently, the company launched a new model called Infinix Hot 11s, which offers excellent features like a basic phone. Compared to the previous Infinix Hot 10s model, the Infinix Hot 11s has decent camera features.

Not only that, you’re getting decent processing power, protective coating, impressive custom user interface, and last but not least robust charging support under the hood. The phone is currently exclusively available in India, and the phone is available from September 2021 onwards. Now the question remains whether the price and features make the Infinix Hot 11s phone worth buying or not. To find out, let’s move towards the detailed review of the Infinix Hot 11s smartphone.

Infinix Hot 11s Review

Highlights

  1. The device comes with an FHD IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is unusual for entry-level phones.
  2. As far as software is concerned, you will get XOS 7.6 UI based on Android 11.
  3. In terms of hardware processing, the company deploys a decent mid-range Helio G88 chipset under the hood.
  4. The phone supports a triple camera configuration with a 50 MP lens as the main camera and 8 MP selfie camera at the front.
  5. Lastly, the power supply on the phone comes via the massive 5000 mAh battery.

Design and Display

After crossing the 10,000 INR price range, it’s quite possible that the phone offers a decent design layout. Even if you are building the plastic, the fancy design makes the phone stand out from the rest of the competition and is undoubtedly a plus for users as they will get something aesthetic at a reasonable price.

Also, you can buy the Infinix Hot 11s smartphone in three interesting color options: Polar Black, Green Wave, and purple options. The Green Wave and Purple variants look sophisticated, while the Polar Black looks more professional than the other two. However, the phone weighs about 205 grams. Despite this, the layout of the camera island changes significantly.

On the other hand, the Infinix Hot 11 offers a 6.78 inches IPS LCD panel that brings the 90Hz refresh rate package and 500 nits brightness rating that handles the viewing experience flawlessly. In addition, you will also receive the NEG Dinorex T2X-1 protective coating. However, it’s not as good as corner glass but it has scratch resistance and shock resistance features intact.

Memory and Internal

The Infinix Hot 11s hits a new relativity chipset – 12nm Helio G88, and it is rumored that this chipset performs better than the Snapdragon 820. After checking the functioning of this hardware, we were shocked by the fact that AnTuTu scores on the phone are over 200k. It’s pretty good for a midrange phone and you won’t have any problems with multitasking. Still, it’s not as good as the processing abilities of the Infinix Note 11 Pro.

You should be very grateful for the software optimization that offers substantial battery life. Furthermore, the customization feature available on XOS can be matched with the competition. But, there is bloatware in the Android 11 interface, so you need to remove them manually. As for the gaming aspect, the phone’s performance is good lite games- so you can play at a low setting.

However, overheating issues may occur during the gaming session as the phone does not offer any cooling system. The most significant concern about the Hot 11s phone would be its RAM and storage capacity, as the Hot 11s is equipped with 4GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB of storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Furthermore, eMMC 5.1 slightly improves the speed of reading and writing data, while a MicroSD card slot is present.

Camera

The biggest concern on the mid-range camera island is that the lens didn’t provide a decent low-light photography experience. But things change with the input of the 50 MP primary camera with this, you can capture excellent low-light photos that can match the mid-range pattern. But you didn’t get your hopes up, as the result of the image would be average.

You will notice noise and grain in photos while the stabilization software is away. So, although the phone supports 1440p video recording at 30fps, the result will be adequate. Color reproduction can hardly be said as good as nothing. But, the native camera app offers an impressive set of features, archives, and modes to suit your need.

You can use professional mode to fully utilize the power of the primary sensor while the rest of the lens also gives decent results. The 2MP lens helps a bit in terms of portrait, while there is AI lens is also present. You will get decent images in the selfie photos, but the photo quality will be average as usual. As for video recording from an 8MP lens, you’re getting the same features like the rear camera.

Battery and Others

The battery performance of the Infinxi Hot 11s is excellent overall; you can get more than 3 hours of screen time for gaming, while your phone can sit idle for a day and a half on a single 5000 mAh mobile charge. However, the phone does not support fast charging, although you have to wait more than an hour and a half to charge it with the standard charger with a USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Like most Infinix phones, the Hot 11s also supports DTS audio enhancement and provides dual speakers. In short, the sound output of the device will be impressive. Last but not least, the price could have been reduced a bit due to storage capacity, unless the company hadn’t introduced a new chipset and added a 50MP camera on the back. It’s quite surprising to see so many features in the expected price range of $159 (Rs 11,999) approx.
