Infinix Hot 11s NFC

Infinix Hot 11S NFC Smartphone Review – The Infinix Hot 11-series phones are quite decent and offer a wide range of features at a pretty affordable price point. Last year, the company released the Infinix Hot 11s, which sells like a hot cake in Southeast Asian and African countries. In 2022, the company released a new variant known as the Infinix Hot 11s in September 2021. But as you have guessed it’s a rebranded from the previous gen phone.

The company just added NFC features, while the specs are almost identical to the previous model. The phone got a decent design layout, good performance, above-average camera results, good battery life, and many more perk. At first impression, nobody can judge a phone from its specs, so let’s start the Infinix Hot 11s NFC Review.

Infinix Hot 11S NFC Smartphone Review

Highlights

  1. The Infinix Hot 11s NFC is offering a 6.78-inches IPS LCD panel that grants a 90Hz refresh rate.
  2. In terms of the software layering, the phone arrives with Android 11 with XOS 7.6 custom skin.
  3. As for the hardware section, you will obtain the Helio G88 chipset with a decent GPU.
  4. A 50MP triple camera setup arrives with an 8MP selfie lens support.
  5. Last but not least, the company provides a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Design and Display

The Infinix Hot 11s NFC comes with a decent design layout, which grants a classic appearance and a unique camera layout. Besides this, the company also provides three color variants from which you choose anyone that fits your preference. Aside from this, the phone offers Polar Black, Green Wave, and Purple. If you are looking for a professional-looking appearance, you can go with the Polar Black.

But if you prefer fancy shade options, then the Green Wave and Purple are the best choices for you. The plastic build does feel underwhelming, but it makes the phone lightweight and offers an 8.8 mm thickness. Though, it looks bulky due to its huge battery capacity. But, it’s worth noting that the company is a fingerprint scanner for security factors.

The front display offers a tall aspect 6.78inches IPS LCD panel with FHD resolution. With that screen, you can watch your favorite content without any interruption. Though the phone is lacking screen protection coating, still, 90Hz refresh rate does improve the viewing experience of the phone. The colors and contrast are good, while the 500nits brightness level is average for outdoor usage.

Memory and Internal

The performance end of the Infinix Hot 11s NFC is pretty good for average usage and simple tasks, as the 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 chipset can handle multitasking easily. But at the same time, there are limitations with the processing speed because it can go up to 2×2.0GHz of cloaking speed. So expecting advanced processing power would be meaningless in the first place. Hopefully, the graphic end gives a stable experience.

With Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, you can play Call of Duty, Apex Legend, and Genshin Impact in a low-resolution setting. But we would not recommend long gaming hours with this phone due to low cooling support, which will eventually lead to overheating problems. Speaking of the software, the outdated Android 11 comes with the XOS 7.6 interface.

Though you might get lots of customization perks with XOS custom skin, bloatware apps are noticeable in the app drawer. As for the storage choice, you can pick between 64GB to 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal space that will be accompanied by 4GB to 6GB RAM. Furthermore, you will also obtain a dedicated Micro slot inside the SIM tray.

Camera

The Infinix Hot 11s NFC appears with a triple camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary lens that shot 12MP photos in the standard mode. The colors are natural with proper contrast and fine details with decent exposure. As for the night mode photos, the details are a bit soft and you will notice noise in the image. Although, the native camera does improve the overall camera quality while taking lowlight photos.

Aside from this, the blur effect in the portrait mode is that crisp, while the details are good, and the 2MP depth lens helps in enhance the background. Following this, you are getting a QVGA lens that completes the triple camera module. Though, the phone doesn’t have a proper dynamic lens since it is lacking an ultra-wide lens.

The Hot 11s NFC support 1440p resolution video recording, but you won’t notice video stabilization support, the same goes for the selfie camera. With the 8MP selfie camera, you can shoot decent photos with your friends and family without any hassle. Furthermore, the native camera app also provides diverse features, modes, and effects, to improve the overall camera results.

Battery and Others

As far as the battery life is concerned, the Infinix Hot 11s NFC brings a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery, which is pretty standard for a mid-range phone. Following this, the battery optimization of this phone is quite excellent as you can expect more than 6+ hours worth of screen time for streaming content, gaming, and a daily dose of internet. Inside the box, you will also get an 18W wired charger.

With this, you will obtain a charging cable bundle that will connect to the Type C 2.0 port and refuel the phone in less than an hour and a half. Aside from this, the dual speaker quality feels a bit underwhelming, still, it’s good to see a 3.5 mm jack port. Finally, the Infinix Hot 11s NFC cost around $252 (Rs. 20,569 in India) approx, which is an overpriced deal for every user.

Conclusion

The Infinix Hot 11s NFC is a great phone that offers a decent display, a better refresh rate, ample storage support, and a long-lasting battery. Although, the hardware processing is average so you might not able to play advanced games to some extent, while the camera quality is what you expect from a mid-range segment phone.

Though, there’s no denying that the phone has some flaws such as the older Android version. But you will find several other amazing smartphones under the same price range. If you prefer the stock android experience, you can check out the Moto G72, though it’s lacking 5G connectivity. But if you want 5G connectivity, you can check out the Poco X4 Pro for better performance.
