Honor Magic 8 lite

Honor X70 Specifications

The Honor X70 was announced on July 15, 2025 and released only a few days later, slotting into the mid-range 5G market with a surprisingly premium focus on durability and display quality. It comes in a slim body at around 7.8–8.0mm and weighs either 193g or 199g depending on configuration, and the design is backed by IP68/IP69K protection, full dust sealing, and serious water resistance up to 6m along with drop resistance up to 2.5m. The front uses a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel that supports 120Hz, 1B colors, HDR, and up to 6000 nits of peak brightness, making it bright enough for harsh outdoor use. The resolution sits at 1200×2640 with about 427ppi, and the screen is protected by aluminosilicate glass. Out of the box it runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9, and it supports dual SIM with 5G connectivity.

Performance-wise, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process. It’s paired with the Adreno 810 GPU and comes in a range of storage and RAM options up to 512GB and 12GB RAM, though there’s no microSD support. Day-to-day tasks and social apps run smoothly, and the chip is efficient enough for gaming at moderate settings. The rear camera setup is simple, a single 50MP wide shooter with PDAF and OIS. It records 4K video at 30fps and offers useful extras like gyro-EIS, HDR, and panorama. The selfie camera is an 8MP unit capable of 1080p video, more basic but fine for calls and casual photos. Stereo speakers are included for media, though there’s no 3.5mm jack. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive, NFC, infrared, multiple GNSS bands, and USB-C 2.0.

The battery is one of the standout features. Honor went with an 8300mAh Si/C Li-Ion pack, which is huge for a normal slab phone and gives the X70 impressive endurance. Charging is equally aggressive, with 80W wired on all models and 80W wireless plus reverse wireless charging on the top 512GB model. Color options include Black, Green, White, and Red, and the phone launched around $187 (Rs 16,999 in India), making it very competitive considering its rugged build, long battery life, and rich display. Overall, the Honor X70 feels designed for users who want a durable everyday phone with a bright high-refresh screen and excellent battery life, without spending flagship money.
