In October 2024, the Honor launched its low-budget smartphones as Honor X5b and Honor X5b Plus. The Honor X5b is the base model that comes with a 6.56-inch TFT LCD panel with 530 nits brightness and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a Helio G36 processor and runs on Android 14 OS with a Magic OS 8 custom UI. The device also has a microSDXC card slot and offers a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants.
