HMD Ivalo XE Specifications
The HMD Ivalo XE was announced on September 9, 2025, and is yet to launch in the market. It’s a rugged and high-performance smartphone built for professionals and demanding environments. With a tough glass front, aluminum frame, and glass-fiber back, the phone is IP68/IP69K certified for dust and water resistance and also meets MIL-STD-810H standards. This makes it durable enough to handle drops, immersion, and high-pressure water jets without compromising functionality.
The phone features a 6.32-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution and around 416 ppi density. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness, ensuring smooth scrolling and clear visibility even outdoors. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, adding an extra layer of durability. While not AMOLED, the display still delivers bright and crisp visuals suitable for professional and everyday use. Under the hood, the Ivalo XE runs on the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with an octa-core CPU and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. This combination ensures smooth multitasking and efficient performance for heavy-duty apps.
The dual 50 MP rear cameras (wide and ultra-wide) capture detailed images, and the 32 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls well. Video recording supports 4K and 1080p with gyro-EIS, making it suitable for professional content capture. The 4500 mAh battery provides decent endurance for daily usage and supports USB Type-C fast charging. For connectivity, it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, covering all essential communication and networking needs. Security is a major focus, with features like dual-layer encryption, radio hardware kill-switch, anti-tampering tech, and modular Fusion 3.1 support. Currently, it comes in black, and the price will be around $341 (Rs 29,999 in India).
