Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold  Overview

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is a high-end foldable phone that mixes new technology with a strong, lasting build. It was announced in August 2026. It has a big 8.0 inch foldable OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and very high brightness (up to 3600 nits), so it is easy to see even in bright sunlight. When you fold it, you use a smaller 6.5 inch OLED screen that also has a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is made with strong glass, a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back, and an aluminum frame. It weighs 239 grams and has an IP68 rating, which means it can survive being underwater up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It runs on Google’s Tensor G6 chip, uses Android 17, and will get up to seven major software updates, so it stays up to date for a long time.

For speed and storage, the phone comes with 16GB of RAM and you can choose 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. There is no memory card slot. The back has three cameras: a 48MP main camera, a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a 10.5MP ultrawide camera. Google’s smart features like Best Take and Zoom Enhance help you take great photos in any light. You can record video in 4K at up to 60fps with HDR and steady-cam help. For selfies, there is a 10MP camera on both the front and cover screens. The phone has stereo speakers but no headphone jack.

The phone connects with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and ultra-wideband (UWB). It also has Satellite SOS for emergencies. The 4806mAh battery charges at 30W with a cable (50% in 30 minutes) and 25W wirelessly with magnetic Qi2.2 charging. It also supports bypass charging for gaming. For security, there is a side fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and a barometer. It comes in Obsidian and Olive colors and costs about USD 1899 (Rs 1,86,999) approx. It has an EU energy Class B rating, a free-fall Class A rating (survives 210 falls), and a repairability Class B score making it a strong, long-lasting foldable phone.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Pros and Cons

Based on the above specs, you can see the list of pros and cons (advantages and disadvantages) of the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold smartphone.

  2. The phone is dust-tight and water-resistant (IP68). It can stay in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes.
  3. It charges wirelessly at 25W with magnets (Qi2.2). The magnets help the charger line up in the right spot. It also charges faster than the older model.

  5. It has a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. This lets you take clear photos of far things.
  6. The main screen is 8 inches and it is OLED and 120Hz. This makes scrolling smooth. Colors look bright.
  7. It comes with 16GB of RAM on every model. This means apps run smoothly. You can also keep many apps open at the same time.
  8. It gets 7 major of Android updates. This means you keep getting new features and security fixes for many years.

Cons

  1. The phone does not come with a charger in the box. You must buy a charger yourself. This costs extra money.
  2. Wired charging is only 30W and it takes about 1.5 hours to charge fully.
  3. The battery is only 4,806 mAh. This is smaller than last year’s model and heavy users may need to charge it before the day ends.
  4. The phone bent and broke in a durability test. The damage was near the hinge. So it may not last as long as Google says.
  5. It is very expensive and the base model costs USD 1899 (Rs 1,86,999) approx.
  6. The hinge is hard to repair. If it breaks, fixing it may cost a lot and take a long time.
  7. Dust can still get into the hinge even with the IP68 rating. This can cause noise or problems over time.
  8. The inner screen can get scratched by your fingernails. You must be gentle when using it.
  9. The speed is average compared to other top phones. The Tensor G6 chip scored lower in tests. So it may not feel very fast for games or heavy tasks.
  10. You can still see the fold line in the middle of the screen. It is better than before, but still visible when the phone is open.
