Google is revealing new feature that will enable users to automatically erase some data stored about them.

The changes, declared on Wednesday, this new feature will allow user to choose they wish their information to be stored for either 3 or 18 months. After that any old information will naturally be deleted from their records.

The new controls features are presently being implemented for google users. The web, location history and application action will be available in the coming weeks.

“We work to keep your information, data secure, and we’ve heard your input that we have to give easier approaches to you to manage or delete your data” Google said this in a blog. “You should always be able to deal with your information and data that works best for you. we’re focused on giving you the best controls to make that happen.”

Clients will keep the choice of physically erasing their location history, web and application information.

Google utilizes this data stored to recommend weather, music and more that clients may like and informs them regarding climate conditions by their location history.

Google has additionally faced activity abroad, being hit with a $57 million fine in Europe in January over its information rehearses.
